600 people present on the sets of Bombay Velvet at all times

As many as 600 people used to be on set all the time during the shoot of Bombay Velvet …..   

Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet is large scale period drama film.

The film is set in the 60’s era, where the director has recreated the Bombay of that period in Sri Lanka.

Being a big scale film, as many as 600 people were required to be present throughout on the sets.

 It was a huge set and a good amount of coordination was needed in order to have everything under control.

Anurag made sure that everything is in sync with the era, from the look of the characters, to the cars and the streets.

Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, Bombay Velvet is a much awaited film of the year and is all set to hit the screens on 15th May.

Rajkumar Rao enjoys reading biographies

Rajkumar Rao who is currently in news for winning the Dadasaheb Phalke Foundation award, is someone who is very fond of reading biographies.

Very few know that the actor has a special interest in learning about the journeys of various personalities. In fact, the actor’s past work also reflects the same. The highly critically acclaimed film ‘Shahid’ was based on the life of lawyer and human rights activist Shahid Azmi who was assassinated in 2010 in Mumbai.

Rajkumar’s performance in the film was widely appreciated which even lead to him winning the National Award as best actor. This also marks on Rajkumar being one of the youngest actors to bag the title.

However, this doesn't end here, Rajkumar's forthcoming film titled Aligarh is also based on the real life story of a professor of Aligarh University who falls in love with a rickshaw puller.

Farhan Akhtar misses Skydiving

Farhan Akhtar has always been an adventure freak.

During the shoot of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara in 2011, in Spain,  Farhan had tried skydiving.

He loved it so much that he enrolled for a short course in it, and got a certificate too. However, he has not been able to do it for a long time now, and misses it immensely.

Farhan was determined to continue skydiving regularly, but he couldn’t, because of work.

All of last year, the actor was caught up with shoots and his music concerts.
 
In fact, when he was filming his next, Dil Dhadakne Do, he wanted to go skydiving in Barcelona, Spain, but the weather conditions were not suitable.

Aamir Khan only Bollywood actor to be invited for Women In The World Summit

Aamir Khan attended the Women In The World Summit which took place in New York on 22nd April evening.

Aamir is the only Bollywood actor to have been invited to the Women In The World Summit. Also, amongst the participants, Aamir was the only male who joined their panel of discussion!

The sixth annual Women In The World Summit saw great change makers of today and tomorrow participating at the event, with Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep and Hilary Clinton among others present there.

Aamir addressed the issue of tackling taboos in India.

Zainab Salbi, who is an Iraqi-American humanitarian, entrepreneur, author, and media commentator, interacted with Aamir at the event and discussed Aamir's work and his views.

He interacted at length with the other guests present at the event.

Wow!!! What an entertainment incredibly fantastic. All super heroes in one frame, Marvel Studios have bought this franchise at a very right time of retreat mood the film is stupendous in all aspects of entertainment and visual effects.

The makers have left no stone unturned as there is not a single frame inconsequential in terms of commercial proficiency, almost every character Tony Stark / Iron Man, Steve Rogers / Captain America, Thor, Bruce Banner / Hulk, Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, and Clint Barton / Hawkeye (All Super Heroes) have been carefully positioned and assembled into one big adventure motion picture and yes they are on a mission to save the world from humans own creation that is a robot name Ultron.
At an filming budget of more than 250 million dollars there are surely many highlights in the movie to hold your interest and give value for your ticket. Especially the fight between Hulk and Iron Man is astounding the car chase on street of  Seoul, South Korea is also shot with incredibly complex techniques to keep you on the edge of the seat and the ultimate climax is one big enthralling visualization, it is a real definition of a magnanimous action drama.
It's worth watching on a 3D IMAX version.

Rajkumar Hirani is is gearing up for his next production Saala Khadoos


With his last release PK creating a record at the Box Office, it also marked a huge success for Rajkumar Hirani considering it was the first release for him under his production banner Rajkumar Hirani Films. The director – writer has now shifted his attention to his second production

Saala Khadoos is an upcoming bilingual, sport, drama film, featuring R. Madhavan in the lead as a boxing coach.

The film's trailer has garnered a lot of appreciation. Rajkumar Hirani has been conducting extensive meetings to discuss the plans on the films. He has been discussing the pre and post, release and marketing strategy.

He is fully concentrating on Saala Khadoos and not only this, Rajkumar Hirani has been in fact, keeping a daily tab on all the activities that have been scheduled for the film.

Shraddha Kapoor is undergoing singing training for Rock On 2

Shraddha Kapoor is all excited to step into the character of her next film, Rock On 2!

The actress has already started prepping for the same in between her dubbing sessions for her upcoming release, ABCD 2.

Shraddha, who comes from a musical family and who has lent her voice to popular songs like the Unplugged version of Galliyan last year and wining the Global Indian Music Awards for the same, will also be lending her voice for the music of this film.

For the same, the actress is undergoing voice modulation classes.

She is training with Priyanka Chopra's trainer, Samantha Edwards. She does a one hour class every alternate day.

Shares Shraddha, "Ritesh Sidhwani (Producer, Excel) and Shujaat Saudagar (director of Rock On 2) put me on to Samantha. She has also trained Priyanka Chopra. I have done 8-9 classes with her so far and they include breathing exercises, vocal exercises etc. I really look forward to these classes with her."

21000 auditions and counting for Aamir Khan’s Dangal



Aamir Khan will be seen playing a father in his next film Dangal. While he has been prepping for the role, the casting team is having a tough time auditioning girls who can essay the role of his daughters.

The team has been scouting and has auditioned more than 21,000 girls till now. However, they have not been able to sign anyone.

It is a tough role. The girls need to be slightly athletic and willing to undergo strenuous training.

The director of the film, Nitesh Tiwari is certain he does not want to cast someone from the industry. The casting has been going on since a couple of months.

They are looking for fresh faces who have little or no former training in acting. So even when the team selects someone for auditioning, they have to give them time to prepare for the screen test, making the process even more challenging.

After breaking all box office records with P.K, Aamir does not have a release this year.

However he seems to be gearing up for Dangal which will release in 2016.

It is a very different role he will be seen playing and the casting team needs to ensure they get the casting right.

Spokesperson confirms and shares, "We have been auditioning but have not been able to zero in on the casting yet."

Evelyn Sharma has been in the news for a quite some time as she has big releases like Kuch Kuch Locha Hai and Ishqedarriyaa. The actress has been busy with the promotions of the films these days. She recently went to Surat along with her co-star Mahaakshay by Indian Railways to promote her upcoming film to save time.A source close to the actress said, “Since the car trip takes too long and they had too many cities to visit, they decided to take the train to visit their fans in Surat.” Speaking about her experience visiting Surat Evelyn says, “We are glad that we could make it to the city and meet so many of our fans there. Taking the train was such a lovely experience and we made so many new friends on our journey to Surat.” Commenting further Mahaakshay adds, “I took the train after 15 years and it was a nostalgic experience. I guess Ishqedarriyaan brings us back to our simplest of roots.”Evelyn in the past was seen in successful films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Yaariyan and Main Tera Hero. And now she is gearing up for her first solo film Ishqedarriyaa which is releasing this year.

After successfully tackling various topics like suicide, violence against women and children, and entrapment, COLORS’ solution-driven show, Code Red will now throw light on some of the most popular paranormal occurrence in the country and narrate the untold story behind every supernatural incidence through a brand new series titled Talaash.  To take viewers through tales that have influenced their mindsets, COLORS has roped in Anita Hassanandani and Shaleen Malhotra. Produced by A Lost Boy Productions, Code Red’s Talaash series will narrate urban legends and popular ‘hearsay’ that have impacted the society and will go on-air starting 20th April, 2015 at 10:30 PM on COLORS.

Speaking about the launch of the new series, Manisha Sharma, Programming Head – COLORS said, “Through Code Red, we have sensitized viewers about issues that impact society based on human frailties while empowering them to deal with inner and outer demons. Through the initial episodes on Code Red, we have created a ray of hope to viewers who might have been on the verge of giving up. After Umeed, Awaaz and Chakravyuh, we are now announcing the Talaash series - which brings to light stories that set beliefs in society. Our aim is to bust popular myths that have been passed along generations, forming opinions and set patterns in people. As another aspect of human frailty comes forward, we hope to inform viewers about the existence of certain paranormal energies around us.” 

Commenting on the series, producer Vikas Gupta from A Lost Boy Productions said, “There are stories of oddities and abnormalities which have, over the years, become legends. Code Red’s Talaash series promises to create an engaging proposition for viewers while building empathy for the wandering spirits along with the underlying message of hope.”

Code Red Talaash touches upon the unknown and the reasons why these paranormal energies exist while building empathy for them in the minds of the viewers. The series highlights the lasting impact that injustice has had on the minds of those offended. Very often, the impact affects that soul of the person wronged; much after the person is deceased. An unusual yet humane way of addressing the unknown, Code RedTalaash aims at demystifying popular myths and urban legends that have been passed along generations.

Commenting her association with the show as an enabler of change, Anita Hassanandani says, “We are often told by our friends and family members to not go to a particular place owing to some unkown energies that might have existed there, making us form superstitions in our mind. These beliefs are then passed on to our acquaintances and then take the shape of an urban legend that the society blindly accepts without questioning its authenticity. Code Red’s Talaash series investigates these superstitions and strives to create a sense of relatability in the minds of viewers for the unknown phenomenon which have shrouded their judgments and set beliefs.” 

Adding further, Shaleen Malhotra comments, “The concept of Code Red’sTalaash series is very intriguing and different. It is not a horror show; in fact, it talks about incidents that we have all heard of and adds an emotional quotient to it – making us empathize with these supernatural elements.” 

Some of the tales that will be revealed on Code Red’s Talaash during the course of the show include an autorickshaw story based in Mumbai’s suburb of Borivali, a legend about a water-well in Rajasthan, and even the true story behind the ‘unsafe’ claim for Delhi’s Cantonment Road. Television’s well-known faces such as Asha Negi, Shilpa Saklani, Suhasini Mulay, Sana Amin Shaikh among others will play key roles seen during the course of the show on Code Red Talaash.

हाउस कीपर के बेटी की पढ़ाई का खर्च उठाएंगे जय भानुशाली।



​बॉलीवुड में अक्सर देखा जाता है की कुछ बॉलीवुड एक्टर्स समाज सेवा करते हुए दिखाई देते है , ऐसा ही नेक काम जय भानुशाली और उनकी पत्नी माही विज कर रहे है। जय के घर ५ सालो से हाउस कीपर का काम कर रहे मनोज को एक बेटी है वे उसे अच्छी शिक्षा देना चाहते है ,जब जय को पता चला की मनोज के हालत इतने अच्छे नहीं है तो जय ने फैसला कर लिया की मनोज के बेटी के शिक्षा का खर्च वे करेंगे। ​यह बात जय ने उनकी पत्नी माही को कही वह भी उन्हें सपोर्ट कर रही है। 

जय कहते है " अगर आप किसी की मदत कर सको तो यह अच्छी बात है , में तो बस थोड़ी मदत कर रहा हु।  इस मदत से किसी की प्रगति होती हो तो अच्छी बात है। मनोज हमारे यहाँ ५ सालो से काम कर रहा है ,एक अच्छा बॉन्ड है। में सोचता हु हर बच्चे को शिक्षा मिलनी चाहिए और इसी लिए हमसे जो मदत हो सके वह करनी चाहिए।
