Style 12 young women as part of L'Oréal Paris’#YouCannes campaign

Mumbai, April 25, 2015: In an evening dedicated to celebrating 18 years of glitz and glamour as the official make-up partner for Festival De Cannes, L’Oréal Paris amplified the style quotient by reaching out to the diva in every woman with their new collection ‘Matte or Gloss’. The products and the looks created by L’Oréal Paris Beauty Expert, Namrata Soni were unveiled by two stunning L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth – Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif who perfectly embody the elegance that this festival exudesKatrina Kaif will make her debut at the festival this year and also be a part of the opening ceremony of Cannes on 13th May. Sonam Kapoor will attend the event on 16th May. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has been representing L'Oréal Paris at Cannes for 14 years now, will be walking the red carpet on 17th and 20th May.

Inspired by the latest trends on the fashion runways and perfect for the red-carpet the L'Oréal Paris ‘Matte or Gloss’ collection is created to give the prima donna in you a flawless look. L'Oréal Paris believes that the stories you live are stronger than the stories you watch and this year the brand introduced a new initiative to bring its fans closer to Cannes. With the theme of #YouCannes, L'Oréal Paris introduced a ‘Matte or Gloss’ contest across the brand’s digital platforms inviting women to pick a style statement! 12 women were selected out of which 6 were chosen to be a part Katrina’s Team Glamorous Gloss and the other 6 were chosen to be a part of Sonam’s Team Marvelous Matte. These women were then given a makeover by Katrina and Sonam and given a chance to walk the red carpet with their style and beauty mentors.
