The cast of Comedy Nights With Kapil visited Dubai for a special shoot. Here, they were joined by the Creature 3D cast Bipasha Basu and Imran Naqvi, singer Mika Singh and Meiyang Chang.

The horror flick 3 AM

The horror flick 3 AM is gearing up for its release. They film had its music launch last week for which they had booked the band ‘Raeth.’

The production team had arranged for the band to fly to Mumbai by business class and stay at a five star hotel.

However, they did not land as planned. Even after several attempts by the production to get in touch with them, they were not traceable.

The director of the film, Vishal Mahadkar was furious that the band just disappeared and didn't turn up for the music launch where they were supposed to perform two songs.

However, 24 hours after the event, Vishal received a call from the band that couldn't make it as they had over stayed in India even after their visa had expired, and the government was now deporting them back to Pakistan.

The production team had plans of taking them all over India to perform at various colleges and events in order to promote the film.

But now, all the money invested in planning, blocking concerts, airfare and hotels all over India  will be wasted as one doesn't know when they will be able to return to India.

Vishal Mahadkar says, “Wajhi from Raeth Band couldn't make it yesterday for the music launch in Mumbai because they were sent back to Pakistan as their visa had expired.”​

Creature 3D collects 11.34 Cr on Box-office over weekend

T-Series has given their fourth hit in a row- Creature 3D. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, India’s first creature feature, has earned 11.34 Cr on the box-office in the opening weekend.

Creature 3D is India’s first sci-fi film produced by Bhushan Kumar. The film satellite rights were sold for 12 crore and earned a weekend collection of 11.34 crore. The movie has already recovered its cost of 18 crore. The movie’s music and overseas collection gave them a collection of 6 crore.

Mythological CREATURE that Vikram Bhatt has conjured that we have something to boast of, and is really appreciated by Indian audiences, specially the kids. The whole VFX of creature is done purely by Indian VFX artist.

Unlike  most others who have attempted to have CGI characters in their films; CREATURE makers have not restricted the minutes  of screen time that features this imaginary being. The 3D effects were the icing on the cake for the children who have always looked forward to the Hollywood creature films. With the Indian creature being liked and appreciated by audience one can expect a sequel to this hit franchise.

With the same genre Anurag Mohn who started his journey with Kingfisher Voice of Goa 2012 composed a romantic saga Kho Gaya which was released by Times Music in June 2014. It was in the top ten recommended romantic songs of June 2014 by Times Music. The video of the song features Anurag Mohn himself and Miss Universe India finalist, Neha Murali. It was a debut music video for both Neha as well as Anurag. The song was in the beautiful backdrop of Goa with beautiful sunset and beaches keeping in mind the simplicity of the song.

Anurag Mohn is a singer and a music director. He has also composed Bollywood songs for movies sung by veterans like Javed Ali, Abhijeet Sawant and Aroon Bakshi.

Rishi Khurana’s 'Miss Match' at a Book Launch

We have seen Rishi Khurana playing different roles on screen, be it playing Ved Prakash Chaturvedi in Saas Bina Sasural, a blind man in Savdhaan, a cop in Laut Aao Trisha or a responsible brother in Tumhari Paakhi. Rishi loves experimenting when it comes to acting and this time he experimented through a play ‘Miss Match’ at a book Launch. The book by the authors Tanveer Shaikh and Devang Kanavia, the two most sought after speakers in the consulting space launched their book Best Sellers on Friday 12^th September in a Lounge at South Mumbai.

Rishi Khurana also directed the play which was written by one of the authors of Best Sellers, Devang Kanavia. Rishi Khurana played the role of an NRI named Arjun who has come to India to meet his match from matrimonial site and accidentally meets a girl who is at the same place for an official interview. Rishi is also seen doing a lot of theatre plays but it was for the first time that had directed it.

When asked Rishi about he directing as well as acting the play he said, “Devang and Tanverr are dear friends and I loved doing this for them."

Rishi Khurana filled the ambiance with laughter with his comic play.

Welcome 2 Karachi was a star studded affair

The Mahurat of Welcome 2 Karachi was a star studded affair last week at Puja Films. But, the movie did not start with a welcome note with Irrfan Khan opting out of the film at last minute for personal reasons.

Vashu Bhagnani who was very disappointed with the whole situation was in two minds whether to wrap up the schedule or cancel it, as he was not sure if he could get an actor at such a short notice. But Allz well that ends well!

Jackky Bhagnani, putting all rumors to rest confirms of doing the film bringing a lot of relief to Vashu Bhagnani and Ashish R Mohan. The producer and the director after much thought have decided to offer the character to Jackky.

Jackky who does not like to be a part of every film of Puja Entertainment decided to step in at this crucial moment. He quotes,"I am very happy that I have been considered for this role. Any son would be happy to offer help to his father in difficult times. And I did the same by accepting it. This role is a big challenge in itself and stepping into Irrfan's shoes makes it more challenging. I hope I do justice to this and live up to the expectations of the director Ashish R Mohan."

Bollywood’s classic song, Pyar Mein Dil Pe Maar De Goli which was originally composed by late RD Burman has been recreated as the title track of the movie, Tamanchey. The gritty love story which stars Nikhil Dwivedi and Richa Chadda in the lead, features the super-hit classic track.

Aditya & Parineeti received by soaring crowds in Surat

Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra kickstarted the food yatra yesterday from Madras Cafe in Mumbai.

After their first halt at Parsi Da Dhabba in Talasari they headed to Surat.

At Surat they were welcomed with a surging crowd.

The word of them arriving spread and people had thronged at the famous  ice cream centre where they were scheduled to visit.

It became a bit of a situation where extra security had to be called to take precautionary measures.

It was a near stampede situation as no of people kept increasing.  They all just wanted to catch a glimpse of the actors - Aditya and Parineeti.

The actors were overwhelmed with the love and support from their fans.

Qawali night at Taj Mahal, Agra

Little do people know that Sajid-Wajid, the hindi music composer duo belong to a qawali lineage. They come from a family of qawali singers who were famous for singing in royal darbars and dargahs.

The duo have composed the music for YRF’s anticipated film, Daawat-e-Ishq. It is the first muslim social they have composed the music for.

When they found at that Aditya and Parineeti were going on a road trip to promote the film, they got really excited.

One of the places they are stopping at on the road trip is Fatehpur Sikri. It was built to honor the Sufi saint Salim Chishti.

Sajid-Wajid requested Aditya Chopra to hold a special qawali night there. They volunteered to bring down their entire team there for the night.  

Hence, those going on the food yatra are going to enjoy an authentic qawali night at the shrine of Salim Chishti.

The special event will take place under the stars, in front of the beautiful backdrop of the Taj Mahal.

International dancing sensation Lauren Gottlieb who we've had the pleasure of watching again this season on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa has been hospitalized. Lauren who shot to fame after the success of ABCD (AnyBody Can Dance) and blew our socks off on the television reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is suffering from kidney stone. With this season of Jhalak coming to an end, Lauren is scheduled for one more performance before the finale. When asked if she is going to take rest her reply was "The show must go on".
