Sonam Kapoor who has always worn her heart on her sleeve and voiced her support to various campaigns , this time around ,has lent her full hearted support to the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation -one that runs  art camps for underprivileged kids across the country and has been supported by Salman Khan,Sohail Khan,Aditya Thackeray and Sushmita Sen in the past.

Sonam Kapoor traveled to Delhi to encourage the children of the foundation and interact with them as they exhibited their art work.

Said Rouble Nagi, "I'm grateful to Sonam for lending her support -We were extremely excited to host her as the kids absolutely adore her.I also can't thank Cheena Vig and Juhi Singh enough for their constant support and love they have truly acted as  foundations to this endeavor".

On the occasion said Sonam Kapoor, “I salute Rouble ‘s endeavor to instill into these little one’s a sense of creativity and a platform to express themselves. The Rouble Nagi Art Foundation has been doing some wonderful work and it was an honor to be present here to encourage the children”.

सोनम हमेशा से ही अलग अलग कैम्पेन को तहे दिल से सपोर्ट करती रही है, इतना ही नहीं अपने जन्मदिन पर भी वे अपने फैंस से कैंसर पीडितो के लिए ऑर्गन डोनेट करने का प्रचार कर रही थी और इस बार वे अब रूबल नागी आर्ट फाउंडेशन को पुरे मन से सपोर्ट कर रही है यह संस्था गरीब और वंचित बच्चों के लिए पुरे देश में विविध शिविरों का आयोजन करते है।इससे पहले रूबल नागी को सलमान खान ने सपोर्ट किया था और अब सोनम कपूर सपोर्ट कर रही है। रूबल नागी आर्ट फाउंडेशन को सपोर्ट करने वाली बड़ी लिस्ट है जिस में सलमान खान,सोहिल खान और शुष्मिता सेन जैसे स्टार्स जुड़े हुए थे  और अब नए स्टार्स में सोनम कपूर जुडी है।

 इस कार्य के लिए सोनम दिल्ली पहुंची तथा वहा पर वंचित बच्चो से मिली तथा बच्चो द्वारा बनाये गए कालकृतियो को देखा और सरहाया।

   रूबल नागी कहती है"में सोनम की बहुत ही शुक्रगुजार हु की वे जो सपोर्ट कर रही है। हम बहुत उत्साही थे क्यूंकि बच्चो की मेजबानी कर रहे थे और बच्चे बहुत ही खुश थे , और साथ ही चींग विग और जूही सिंह का शुक्रिया किये बिना बात पूरी नहीं हो सकती क्यूंकि उनका प्यार और सपोर्ट संस्था को हमेशा मिलते रहा है।

   इसी अवसर पर सोनम कपूर ने कहा" में रूबल को सलाम करती हु के वे जो इन बच्चो को एक प्लेटफार्म दे रही है उनकी कला को प्रोहत्सान दे रही है यह सब सराहनीय है। रूबल नागी आर्ट फाउंडेशन यह बहुत ही बढ़िया काम कर रहा है और यह मेरे लिए फक्र की बात है की में बच्चो को प्रोहत्साहन देने यहाँ आयी।

जैकलिन फर्नांडेज़ फ़िलहाल किक फिल्म के शूटिंग के लिए पोलंड में है, और शूटिंग से पहले गुड फ्राइडे और ईस्टर पर वही के एक पुराने चर्च में गयी।

 जैकलिन कहती है" इस साल का ईस्टर मेरे लिए काफी बड़ा महोत्सोव था और साथ ही मैने ४० दिनों का उपवास भी रखा था।  यहाँ के चर्च्स बेहद सुन्दर है और यहाँ के चर्च्स में जाना बेहद ही सुकून देने वाला पल था।

Jacqueline Fernandez, who is currently shooting for Kick in Poland, made it a point to visit a local church there on Good Friday and Easter before shooting.

Jacqueline says, “I had been fasting for 40 days for Lent and so, this year, Easter was a big celebration for me. The churches here are quite beautiful and I had a great time visiting the churches here.”

Hitman Hashmi fans, who are waiting to catch a glimpse of their favorite actor in the upcoming con caper ‘Raja Natwarlal’ can now finally mark the dates on their calendar.

The trailer of  UTV's ‘Raja Natwarlal,  directed by Kunal Deshmukh, is slated to be attached to Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’, which releases this Eid, ensuring that the masses have a double treat this Eid.

Also starring Paresh Rawal, Humaima Malik and Kay Kay Menon, ‘Raja Natwarlal’ shot in Mumbai, Dharamshala and Cape Town, will present the dark horse of Bollywood in a ‘never-before-seen’ avatar.

Emraan Hashmi, or ‘Hitman Hashmi’, as he is known for his spate of hits, has proved time and again that when it comes to consistency and success, he has no equals and if the first look poster of the film is anything to go by, the ‘darling of the masses’ will be soon adding another feather to his cap with this film.

After films like Murder and its sequel ,Jannat,Raaz 2 and The Dirty Picture , the actor famously known as ‘hero of the masses’ , has carved a niche for himself, with a fan base that very few in the industry enjoy .A favorite at the box office ,Emraan Hashmi has also managed to get cash registers ringing for films made on small budgets. दक्षिण भारत के सभी फ़िल्मी हस्तियों ने कोचाडयान की जमकर तारीफ की। 

इरोस इंटरनेशनल और मीडिया वन निर्मित कोचाडयान फिल्म का तमिल संस्करण हैदराबाद में लॉन्च किया गया तभी वह पर हैदराबाद की पूरी फिल्म बिरादरी मौजूद थी और उन सभी ने रजिनीकांत और निर्देशक सौंदर्या रजनीकांत आश्विन को बेहद सपोर्ट कर रहे है क्यूंकि वे पहली बार फोटो रीयलिस्टिक मोशन कैप्चर टेक्निक का इस्तेमाल किया गया है।
    इस इवेंट में हैदराबाद की पूरी फिल्म बिरादरी हाजिर थी और साथ ही राजामौली, मोहन बाबू, टी.सुब्बिरमय रेड्डी जैसे दिग्गज भी मौजूद रहे। इस मौके पर ३डी ट्रेलर के साथ १० मिनट का मेकिंग वीडियो भी दिखाया गया।

    हिट डायरेक्टर राजामौली जिन्होंने बहुत सारी हिट फिल्मो के साथ ही मगधीरा, ईगा जैसी ब्लॉकबस्टर फिल्म बनायीं है उन्होंने सौंदर्या की तारीफ करते हुए कहा"यह प्रोजेक्ट खुद के लिए एक चैलेंज था और उसे भी बड़ा फिल्म को तय समय में पूरा करना। परफॉरमेंस कैप्चर करना कठिन होता है और शुरवात से अंत तक एक अच्छा प्रोडक्ट बनाना बहुत मुश्किल होता है हर एक स्टेप कठिन होता है,मैने जो ईगा के लिए किया था वह सिर्फ २ प्रतिशत था। पुरे वर्ल्ड में यह पहली बार हुआ होगा की फोटोरेअलिस्टिक मोशन पिक्चर के साथ दो साल में फिल्म पूरा करना। और बहुत ही बरीकी से काम हुआ है,मुझे बहुत गर्व है सौंदर्या पर की उसने यह टेक्नोलॉजी हैदराबाद लेकर आये है।

South Film Personalities All Praises For ‘Kochadaiiyaan’
 

The cream of the Hyderabad film fraternity recently attended the showcase of the Telugu version of  Eros International & MediaOne’s Kochadaiiyaan in Hyderabad, in support of Rajinikanth and director Soundarya Rajnikanth Ashwin as she pioneers photo-realistic motion capture technology in the country with the magnum opus.
 
The event attended by Telugu film fraternity and stalwarts like Rajamouli, Mohan Babu, T. Subbiramy Reddy etc. saw the unveiling of the 3D trailer of the film along with a 10 minute video offering insights into the making of the film.

On the occasion Rajinikanth, who was greeted with joyous cheers and whistles, said, “Though I do not understand much about technology, I am very happy that Kochadaiiyaan has been completed in two years and my daughter is introducing a new technology to our industry.” 

Hit director S.S. Rajamouli with a series of blockbuster behind him like Magadheera, Eega etc lavished praises on Soundarya saying, “Taking up this project is a big challenge in itself, and completing it is the next. Performance capture is very difficult… right from the start through to the end product, every step has its own difficulties.” Rajamouli further added, “What I had done for Eega is hardly two percent of what she has done for Kochadaiiyaan. The world has never seen a movie based on photorealistic motion capture finish in two years. She had to keep in mind every little detail. We should feel proud of Soundarya who has got this technology to Hyderabad.”

 Talking about the ‘Thalaiva’, veteran actor Mohan Babu said, “What can I say about my friend? I can write a book on him. We have been friends for 40 years. One of his daughters should have been my daughter-in-law, but that could never happen.”

Later on, when I saw that Spider-Man was truly a part of the act, I was overjoyed. I am a huge fan of Spider-man and have a vast collection of his comics, action figures and posters. There are a lot of superheroes in the comic universe, but my favorite one has always been Spider-Man. I truly like all his super-powers of climbing walls, scaling sky scrapers and super human strength. It was a dream come true for me to share screen space with my favorite superhero. I hope such opportunities come my way more often.”

German Director Reinhard Klooss latest adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs Tarzan tale is a simple and technical marvel of modern animation, truly a visual delight for 100 minutes.

Basic story of Tarzan voice of Kellan Lutz [son of Alice Greystoke and John Greystoke voice of Jaime Ray Newman and Mark Deklin] is left stranded in African jungles after his parents were perished in a crusade of preserving the nature from trepidation of energy industry.

Raised by a gorilla Kala Tarzan’s habitat becomes the jungle and he grow up’s with the nature and animals around to protect him.

Almost a decade into a jungle life, Tarzan comes across gorgeous and beautiful Jane Porter voice of Spencer Locke, his first contact with a human gives him acuity to communicate and identify who he is.

As Jane revisit the jungle with industrialist William Clayton voice of Joe Cappelletti after some years her relationship with Tarzan is regenerated and blossoms.

But Joe is in search for the energy mines which Tarzan’s father had explored years back.

Next loads of action and thrill as who will save the jungle from Joe’s menacing intentions to acquire the mine.

Mumbai, April, 2014: The second edition of Navi Mumbai International Film Festival (NMIFF) has done a business tie up with International Filmmaker festival of world cinema London, The Madrid International Film Festival Spain and St Tropez International Film Festival France. Navi Mumbai International Film Festival (NMIFF) will be the exclusive agency in India for these festivals for film entries and a sister concern in business of films promotions and publicity.

 “NMIFF is extremely thrilled to partner with these international film festivals. We will also be providing an international platform to independent and emerging film-makers to showcase their work to the European audience through our collaboration.” says Founder and Managing Director, Mr Sachin Khanna.

The idea to collaborate with the international festivals had germinated during the first edition of NMIFF to showcase the talent and creativity of film makers at a global level. "HUM DO HAMARE WOH"

The play 'HUM DO HAMARE WOH' which will premiere on 27th April has a unique pairing of Anup Soni and Smita Bansal who are a couple in the hit TV Serial Balika Vadhu.

The makers have done a casting coup by bringing the hit pair of TV on stage. Smita Bansal says, "I love doing theater. It’s a very comical role and after a long time I am playing a comedy character. The scripting is done very nicely. Anup Soni is a very spontaneous actor and the audience will enjoy watching us together."

Anup Soni adds, "This is the first commercial play I am doing. The humour is very good and audiences will surely like to see me in the play. The perception of people that I do only serious plays will change after this. Working with Smita is a pleasure."

Writer and Producer Sanjay Jha says, "It's a unique play with lot of humour. Anup Soni and Smita are known TV stars and very good actors. People will be surprised to see them doing comedy and that is the novelty. The re-marriage and divorce situation would generate comic situations."


The Play Story

The subject throws light on the blind belief which most of the people have in their individual lives on elements which do not have any base or constructive reasons. A couple (Samir and Saloni), who lived almost one and half decade together, suddenly reach a point of a divorce. Samir who is going to die after a few days announces Saloni’s re-marriage plans. His drunkard friend (Dheeraj) supports him in his decision and calls for various candidates for Saloni. Unknowingly a friend (Vineet) of Saloni enters the house as a guest and comes to know about the declaration made by Samir. Samir is under a great influence of one famous baba called ‘Komal Baba’ who has announced Samir’s death after 15 days. Samir and Dheeraj both decide to select Vineet, Saloni’s friend, to be her life partner for the rest of her life. Saloni doesn’t have any grief after hearing her husband’s death news! And therefore she starts preparing for her re-marriage with Vineet very happily. Here the black humour starts on stage especially when a salesman called ‘Divangat Atma’ enters. He is a salesman of nothing but a death celebration and event management company. He tries his best to sell his products and services after hearing Samir’s death news till the audience is revealed the fact by way of Komal Baba’s entry that Samir is not going to die. In these various confusions and roller coaster what will be Saloni’s decision? What will happen to Samir? And what will be the state of mind of Vineet? All such various questions unfold the mystery of the entire story.

And to conclude "HUM DO HAMARE WOH" throws a wonderful social message to the audience in a hilarious way.

Sonam Kapoor who has always worn her heart on her sleeve and voiced her support to various campaigns ,be it encouraging her fans to donate to the Ogaan Cancer Foundation for her birthday or campaigning for the cause of breast cancer, this time around ,has lent her full hearted support to the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation -one that runs  art camps for underprivileged kids across the country.

Sonam will travel to Delhi in the second half of April to encourage the children of the foundation and interact with them as they exhibit their art work.

The Rouble Nagi Art Foundation was earlier supported by Salman Khan , an actor Sonam deeply admires for his philanthropic work.

Says a source, "The RNAF has a steady list of supporters including Salman and Sohail Khan , Sonam is the newest star face to be associated with the foundation given the warm equation she shares with the Khan family.She is currently working on Arbaaz Khan production's Dolly Ki Dholi and despite being busy with her professional commitments be it her films or brands ,Sonam was extremely keen on attending the exhibition to meet with the children there and lend her support to bring attention to a cause that helps underprivileged kids try their hand at creative artworks."

Salman Khan to hang from the 40th floor for Kick

Salman Khan gave the entire unit a scare of their lives for a couple of hours. He chose to do the high risk action sequence on his own. Salman Khan who is currently shooting in Poland, left the entire unit on tender hooks for around 5 hours till he finished shooting a pivotal sequence for Kick. 

With all safety precautions taken by the unit, it was still extremely risky for Salman Khan to hang from the 40th floor of the tallest building in Poland. Palace of Culture and Science is a huge tourist attraction and always has hundreds of visitors on a given day. While the unit was able to cordon off a very small area below the building as they were shooting the facade from a long distance, hundreds of fans were standing to cheer and clap every shot that was being taken. 

The interesting thing was that every movement of Salman Khan was met with a laugh, a collective sigh and a lot of claps.

Sachiin Joshi is a Big Brother now!

Sachiin Joshi an actor-producer-entrepreneur has his plate full.  He recently signed the telugu remake of Aashiqui 2 and has now got his hands in charity as well. Big Brother foundation is an initiative by Sachiin Joshi which aims at helping the people in the rural areas and bridging the gap between the rural and urban. The idea is to provide people in rural areas with basic necessities be it medical care, installing hand pumps, opening schools etc. One village will be picked from each area and would be aided, making it a hub for the other villages nearby.  

When contacted Sachiin Joshi, he said “ I have been fortunate enough to be born and brought up in a well off family, but there are so many underprivileged people in country especially in rural India who are deprived of basic necessities. Big Brother strives to inspire and motivate people to contribute at a personal level. Big Brother hopes to make the changes at a grass root level as I strongly believe that villages are the heart of the country. We are in talks with the panchayats of various villages in Gujarat and Maharashtra to start this activity soon!”

The name Big Brother is conceptualized keeping in mind the Indian traditional values where one looks up to the elder brother after father in the family.

Makers of Chhota Bheem all set to release Mighty Raju- Rio Calling this May 2014

Mumbai, 21^st April:-  Makers of Chhota Bheem Green Gold Animation, are thrilled to introduce their  second most popular television character Mighty Raju as a theatrical release titled Mighty Raju- Rio Calling. The film is all set to release during the school summer holidays in May. The tagline of the film is ‘Soccer, Samba and Samosas’ and the story is based in the beautiful city of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil taking Mighty Raju away from this home town of ‘Aryanagar’.

Mighty Raju today has become a much loved character for children on television. The show is aired on Pogo channel every weekend in a one hour format.  Mighty Raju, Rio Calling is the third film from Green Gold’s roster, the earlier two being Chhota Bheem & the Curse of Damyaan and Chhota Bheem & the Throne of Bali.

With a fan following across the age groups of 4 – 10 years and the success of the earlier two releases, Green Gold Animation decided to release this film to entertain the kids this May.

Moby (Raju’s Pet), Cheeky (Raju’s Robot), Julie, Swamy( Raju’s  Father), Sandhya (Raju’sMother),  Karati (Evil Scientist) who are the key characters of Mighty Raju Television show will feature alongside additional characters such as Daniel, Lucas, Maria and Don Pedro in the film.

Talking about the film, the Director, Rajiv Chilaka said, “The FIFA world cup football is scheduled from June 2014 in Brazil and the entire world would be watching it. I wanted to make a football based film for children and hence decided that it is best to set the film in Rio, Brazil. A team of about 20 creative artists from Green Gold went to Rio De Janeiro and did the recce for the movie. It only made better business sense to carry forth one of our characters into the film instead of creating a fresh one. After a lot of brain storming we decided to take Mighty Raju to Rio. I’m extremely excited about the release of this film as it also marks an opening for our international endeavours”.

Brief Synopsis- About Mighty Raju

Mighty Raju, the four year old kid with super powers travels to Rio, Brazil as his father Swamy has been given a special assignment by the government of India. Raju’s mother, Sandhya is very happy to go there but Raju is very skeptical and feels that he will miss all his friends. Mighty Raju begins to like Rio and joins a school over there, but gets bullied by Daniel at the school and gets teased that he doesn’t know about how to play football. Raju meets Maria and befriends her. He comes to know that she is the daughter of the Don of Rio- Don Pedro.

Raju begins to experience strange phenomenon and keeps losing his super powers for short durations of time. Meanwhile, his dad is trying to solve the puzzle of banks in Rio being robbed by the means of computers. Eventually, Mighty Raju learns to play football and his school team reaches the final of the inter-school tournament. In this film all his wits and powers are put to the test in a pulse-racing face-off against nasty soccer rivals, gun-toting Mafia dons and deadly Capoeira fighters, all set out to strike him down. After Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt locked their lips in their debut film, Student of The Year, we see yet another pair of debutants doing a lip lock.

Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon who will be seen making their debut in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti, kiss in one of the songs of the film, that was shot recently.

Over time, both Tiger and Kriti have started sharing an excellent rapport with each other so it was easier for them to do this at this point.

Dreamers Campaign: Kuch Sapne Sone Nahi Dete

Dreams is what director Amole Gupte believed in when he made  his   upcoming film  Hawaa Hawaai  which has the tag line “Kuch Sapne Sone Nahi Dete”.

The film starring Saqib Saleem and Partho Gupte is all about dreams of a young boy and his coach who has faith in him.  The film's trailer  has already garnered a lot of appreciation so much that many leading film celebrities  have come together to share and talk about the dreams that didn’t let them sleep in what is truly a unique initiative to reach out to the audiences called the Dreamers Campaign.

Speaking about dreams, Vidya Balan who recently received the Padmashri award says today she has achieved all the success because she believed in her dreams. “Please listen to your inner voice as nobody knows more about you than yourself” she states.

Sidharth Malhotra takes a break

After back to back shooting schedules, young actor, Sidharth Malhotra is taking a 10 day break and flying off to a far off destination.

For the first time after he started his film career, he will be taking a 10 days holiday in New York.

Sidharth Malhotra, who made his big debut with Student of The Year, went on to his next projects Hasee Toh Phasee and Ek Villain one after the other and without taking any break.

He has been either training, shooting films or brands.

The actor received immense appreciation for his performance in Hasee Toh Phasee and directly got into preparing for Ek Villain, which shows a drastic change in his performance. From the rom-com HTP, he went on to becoming intense in Ek Villain.

It is a much deserved break for the young actor after 3 years and he was keen to take some time off and relax before starting preparing for his next.

Aditya Roy Kapur, who will next be seen in YRF’s upcoming film, Dawat-e-Ishq, opposite Parineeti Chopra, will have to go through a look change for his film, Fitoor.

The young actor’s looks in both his film is going to be very different. Dawat-e-Ishq is a food related film where he will be seen playing a chef.

His look in this film is more muscular. During the shoot of the film the actor had to even eat a lot of delicious food.

Currently, Aditya is on his way to lose some weight for his film Fitoor. His look is going to be opposite of the Dawat-E-Ishq look.  Opposite Katrina Kaif, the actor will be seen more on the leaner side.

And for the same, the actor has started hitting into the gym and working towards it before starting the shoot of Fitoor.
