Any other actor in his place would go on a signing spree ,however, Arjun Kapoor has decided to take it slow and will not sign any other film until Tevar releases.

I don’t want to miss out on the experience of being creatively involved in the project, including the conversations and discussions at the post production stage. "

Game changer, Kangana Ranaut, who recently met with young underprivileged girls as part of the VogueEmpower campaign , spoke her mind on topics that varied from career choices in the industry ,to the changing role of women in films.

Talking about her interaction with the girls says Kangana Ranaut, “As part of VogueEmpower, I chose to interact with a bunch of underprivileged kids who had no access to education or career counselling. So I gave them guidance and made them aware about careers in our industry. It’s not just what you see on the screen; there is so much more — from managers to assistant directors etc. I helped them understand that there is more to life than living up to someone’s expectations. And one doesn't need to be eye candy. Girls are not shallow and hollow.”

Kangana known to wear her heart on her sleeve, spoke candidly to the young girls ,making it a memorable interaction – “There is so much talk about beauty in our industry, especially when it comes to female actors. You are conditioned to believe that you are required only for the windblown hair and the smooth skin. But I am not here to be just a pretty little thing. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is an answer to Sherlock Holmes

​Dibakar Banerjee is having a good laugh at the rumours doing the rounds about his upcoming next film, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy starring Sushant Singh Rajput.

Recent reports stated how Dibakar’s film, DBB is inspired by the international character of Sherlock Holmes and how they have similarities.

However Byomkesh Bakshy is the biggest and the most famous detective character of India.

There is a series on the character but this is the first time a movie will be made on him.

There are a lot of interesting elements about Byomkesh Bakshy that can be showcased through Dibakar’s film.

So, there was no need for them to take inspiration from Sherlock Holmes.

Finally, the fourth poster came out with Anushka Sharma.

Anushka Sharma is dressed like Aamir Khan was dressed in the previous poster. She is also wearing a transistor.

Anushka's character is called Jagat Janani.

Richa Chadda - Akshay Oberoi starrer in British Producer Michael Ward, 'Bombairiya'

Rumours have been doing the rounds about Richa Chadda being a part of a British film. Now it is being said that Akshay Oberoi has been paired opposite Richa in the same British film being directed by a singer/songwriter.
Richa and Akshay, in fact have been cast in leading roles in a film called Bombairiya which will be shot in interesting locations around Mumbai and is slated to go on floors in December. Bombairiya is a solely Bollywood masala film which is directed by debutante director Pia Sukanya. Contrary to rumors, the film is an out and out Bollywood project and is an ode to Mumbai, a city much loved by the makers of the film.

Says India born British Producer Michael Ward, 'Bombairiya is an affectionate satire on the city of Bombay. Both Pia and I are essentially Indian at heart and Bombay is an integral part of our being. Pia's story is inspired by a real life incident that took place in Mumbai and this gave her the opportunity to weave in various other facets of this remarkable city. Smiling at the earlier rumours, Michael adds "Richa plays a film industry PR girl, Meghna, who is prone to putting out fake news and Akshay plays a middle class IT programmer working from home and who is awkward with girls. It's true that the development financing of the film is British but Richa and Akshay are both on the rise in commercial Hindi cinema and that is why we cast them. We also have other supremely talented actors in leading roles in Bombairiya and we shall reveal who they are shortly.”

The film is said to be a caper comedy with edges of thrill, satire and romance and from what we hear the casting is said to be new age, quirky, eclectic, ensemble and relevant.
 
Says Akshay, "Bombairiya is a fast-paced comic caper. I was immediately on board, after reading the script. It's the kind of writing that really excites me as an actor. I am really glad that a film like this is being made, and all the more, that I am a part of it."
 
Richa quipped, “ I am thrilled to collaborate creatively with Michael and Pia, and they have an exceptional script. I am quite choosy about my work and I think this is one of the best scripts I have read in recent times. Also, I am excited to work with the actors associated with the film. It has a great story with immense universal appeal."

Sunny And Ram Support Patel Rap

Devang Dholakia’s film Patel Rap has been in the news for it’s unusual casting. Ram Kapoor and Sunny Leone will be seen essaying the principal characters in what is slated to be Sunny Leone’s first family film.

While the makers have been keeping other elements of the film under tight wraps, what was known was that the film’s schedule was to start in September in a start to finish schedule in Malaysia. However, it seems like the two popular actors will have to wait a while to shoot with each other as the film’s director Devang Dholakia was suddenly taken ill which led to the film’s schedule being post-poned.

According to a source, “Devang was suffering from jaundice but was unaware of his ill-health. He also has diabetes. The pre-production work was on when one day he collapsed. He was rushed to hospital and was in ICU for two weeks”  Adds the source, “ The director is better but has been advised complete bed rest.”

Patel Rap sees Ram Kapoor essaying the role of a Gujarati businessman who is settled in Kuala Lumpur while Sunny Plays a star. It seems that both actors have left no stone unturned to accommodate the makers of Patel Rap by adjusting their shooting schedules.

Said Sunny, “ Devang’s illness has been unfortunate but yes, I’m happy to adjust dates and schedules for Patel Rap as Devang is like family and this is my second film with him after Tina and Lolo.”

Adds Ram, “ Yes, it’s true Devang our director is currently ill so both Sunny and I have readjusted our dates. Patel Rap is a project that we are both extremely excited about and we don’t want to compromise it in anyway so we will continue to give our full support and cooperation to Devang and his team.”

Says Swara, “I am deeply honoured to be invited to this prestigious debate among such senior and stellar speakers. And it was also homecoming of sorts for me, as it is always special when one’s alma mater displays such faith in their students.While I was shooting for my next with Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor I received a call from them inviting me for this debate and I just had to come. So, I managed to convince the crew and got two days off”.

हृतिक रोशन अपनी जहर फिल्म में कड़ी मेहनत  लुक पर भी काफी ध्यान देते है , हृतिक अपने किरदार को कभी हलके  लेते।  हृतिक की आगमी फिल्म मोहनजोदाड़ो में वह एक वीर योद्धा बने है , और हबहु योद्धा नजर आने लिए वह अब नयी फिटनेस ट्रेनिंग कर रहे है, ह्रितिक पहले श्याम में अपना वर्क आउट किया करते थे लेकिन अब वे सुबह सुबह अपना  वर्क आउट करते है साथ ही वर्क आउट  में उन्होंने कुछ बदलाव भी किये है। हृतिक पहले हाई प्रोटीन अपने डाइट में लिया करते थे लेकिन अब वे ज्यादा तर वेजिटेबलस  सेवन कर  है। हृतिक अपने लुक को लेकर काफी सजक है।

Huma makes it a point to lend her complete support to all kinds of films that require that small push to go a mile ahead. 

Recently she has been lending her support to MAMI. Huma was part of the opening ceremony. She is also on the dimension jury.

The actress tries to ensure that all kinds of films get the exposure they deserve.

Ranveer Singh shoots for the first ever Hail sequence for Kill Dil

For the first time ever there is a Hail sequence in a Bollywood film. 

Shaad Ali, the director of the Kill Dil wanted to have a rain sequence in the film but Ranveer Singh suggested for a hail sequence instead. 

Ranveer felt it would be a better idea to showcase a hail sequence in the film as it fits the scene well and also because audiences have not really seen it in Bollywood films.

Shaad Ali loved the Hail idea and so the R&D team took 20 days to create fake hail. 

During the sequence it was very difficult to say the dialogues because the blobs of the hail stones kept falling on Ranveer’s head, breaking the moment and making it difficult for him to speak.

Although it was a comparatively difficult shot they managed to complete it and all those who have seen it feel it looks really good and all the efforts were worth it.
