New Delhi – March 7, 2014: Actor Ranveer Singh burst onto stage dancing to the tune of ‘Yahan ke hum sikandar’ from the film Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. That pretty much set the tune of the session ‘Young and Restless: How to Be Bold and Brave at India Today Conclave 2014. Hindustan Powerprojects Private Limited Chairman Ratul Puri, who described himself as not young and restless but one who believed that the country was indeed so, defined the circumstance in India quite succinctly. “More than 60 per cent of India is under the age of 40. They are definitely young, and their restlessness has been caused by the rise of social media and the resulting increased awareness which creates aspirations,” he said. The challenges in front of India, he outlined, lie in creating infrastructure, opportunity and skill for this generation. Young actor-turned politician Chirag Paswan, son of Lok Janshakti Party leader Ram Vilas Paswan, said the urge to do something for Bihar’s youth was what drove him into politics. “I want to bring Bihar’s samman (pride) back,” he said. Quizzed about his party’s recent pre-poll alliance with BJP, Chirag said the nation couldn’t be hostage to the past—in a veiled reference to the 2002 Gujarat riots.”

Ajay Sinh Rathod is making his debut in bollywood with his forthcoming film Angry young Man where is he playing the lead role. 

Ajay Sinh Rathod was always a huge Amitabh Bachchan fan and he is really happy that his first film title is inspired by his childhood film hero's nickname.

Although the name of the film is Angry young man, it has nothing to do with Mr. Bachchan's image or the different character's he plays in the films.

"The character I play in the film is very similar to who i am in real life. My character in the film has lot of anger which is suppressed and does not have an outlet." says Ajay Sinh Rathod.

YRF receives 1540 applications for Bewakoofiyan

After the news of YRF hiring a marketing executive through their next release Bewakoofiyan broke, there were about 1540 applications with which the production house has been flooded with. It doesn't stop here; YRF is still continuing to receive applications of several candidates who have applied for the job.

It is indeed, a brilliant hiring technique which was ideated by the makers of the film. However, out of the 1540 applications which have come, only 100 would be shortlisted for the actual interview. It would definitely be a task to shortlist only 100 candidates out of the several applications which have come.

The only criteria to get the job at the marketing department of YRF would be to impress the lead actors of the film, ie Sonam Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana. On one hand where Sonam would conduct the interview on the grounds of personnel presentation, 
Ayushmann on the other hand who himself plays a marketing professional in the film would judge the candidates on basis of his or hers marketing strength. The entire thought fits in with the film as Ayushmann will be seen playing a marketing executive himself.

The film has also generated immense traction's due to it’s catchy music album. Moreover this would be the first time that audience would notice Sonam Kapoor and 
Ayushmann Khurrana coming together on the silver screen. The film is all set to release on 14th March’14.

Spokesperson of the film confirms the news and adds,"Its been an overwhelming response. We are quiet taken a back with so many entries."

Owing to the current track of Chidiya Ghar, Ghotak and his family are having a gala time at ‘Rann Mahotsav’ in Bhuj. Ghotak aka Paresh Ganatra got an opportunity to spend time with the villagers during the shoot and had fun-filled sessions with them at the festivities.

After the shoot would conclude, the villagers would flock around Ghotak to hear stories of the big city. The whole get-together would appear like a huge family coming together to greet a member who has returned home. Paresh was made to feast on the choicest of delicacies and was also treated to the local folk dances and music.

Most villagers connected with Paresh as a TC owing to his character Ghotak in Chidiya Ghar. They even jokingly enquired if he would take them along with him to Mumbai to show them around the city. These conversations created a pleasant connect amongst Paresh and the villagers. Paresh was very enthusiastic in his approach & even tried his hand at pot making & volunteered to be a partner in a turban making competition which endeared him to the crowds around him.

Paresh said, “It was an enriching and heart-warming experience at Rann Mahotsav. All the village folks gave me great respect and affection. We talked about the happenings in the villages & cities, they treated me to authentic festive delicacies which we seldom get to savor and made me feel at home. They even made me laugh by treating me like a real TC & asking for favours to take them along to Mumbai. I truly loved engaging with the villagers and trying my hand at the various activities in the festival. I hope I get to come back soon and interact with all of these lovely people again.”
We hope Paresh gets to visit his extended family soon to enjoy the festive hospitality again!

Similarly for Rajesh Kumar aka Dara Koyla from SAB TV’s new horror comedy ‘Pritam Pyaare Aur Woh’ is all about getting the right hair style. The tall lean, aristocratic-looking Vampire styles his hair in a different way, which goes the organic way. Rajesh is particular about his looks and most importantly he focuses to get a perfect hair style.     आखिर यह राज खुल गया कि वह युवक एक  स्ट्रग्लिंग एक्टर था और वह इस उम्मीद में था कि वह अपने इमोशंस से किसी रोल को पाने में कामयाब हो जायेगा।

Vir Das knows how to keep his audiences interested and that goes beyond his stage performances too apparently. The actor is soon to be seen in Sai Kabir’s Revolver Rani and is paired opposite Kangana Ranaut.

 But what’s interesting is Vir turns into a toy-boy in this movie and does some desperate things to woo Kangana for his ulterior motive.
“I’m doing a role that even I couldn’t have thought of ever performing. I do play a toy boy but my character Rohan has got a lot of shades to him. Most of them are not so nice. In a pursuit to win her love, I am willing to do anything for her and Rani being the bindaas lady that she is… well royally uses me!” Says Vir.

He further adds that, “This role has been mentally and physically exhausting. This is the first time I’m doing such an intense role. People will see a side a new side of me.”
Kangana is also seen in a bold role where she plays a politically active local woman. Set against the backdrop of Gwalior and Chambal, Vir and Kangana will be seen romancing on the big screen for the first time.

 After being the cool dude in his previous movies, guess his not-so-cool look is something new for us to watch out for.

Produced by Wave Cinema and directed by Sai Kabir, the movie is set against the backdrop of rustic landscapes of Chambal and Gwalior in MP, and will bring alive the Wild Wild West of India. The movie is slated to release on 25th April 2014.
