Dekh Tamasha Dekh, directed by Feroz Abbas Khan, Produced by Sunil Lulla and Feroz Abbas Khan, under the banner of Eros Internatonal and Bombay Local pictures is slated for 11th April 2014 release

Dekh Tamasha Dekh is a political and social satire based on a true story, it revolves around the search for the religious identity of a poor man crushed under the weight of a politician's hoarding.

Varun Dhawan may be busy shooting for a film and simultaneously promoting his upcoming release ‘Main Tera Hero’, but someone else is busy being Varun Dhawan!

Apparently a random person is posing as the actor on a popular social media website and interacting with unsuspecting fans. The situation got so bad that some fans have even flown down from UK to meet Varun Dhawan but were in a huge shock when they learnt it wasn’t the Real Varun Dhawan!

On learning this, Varun Dhawan got a little infuriated and quickly took charge of the situation by clarifying on his twitter account by posting this,“Hey guys I am not on Facebook I don't have an account. There are some fake accounts so please don't trust them.”

     सतीश कौशिक अपनी आगामी फ़िल्म गैंग ऑफ़ घोस्ट्स से लोगो को हँसाने के साथ डराएंगे। ४ साल के लम्बे गॅप के बाद सतीश कौशिक अपने निर्देशन में बन रही फ़िल्म गंग ऑफ़ घोस्ट्स लेकर आ रहे है। इस से पहले ज़ोंबी जैसे विषय पर कॉमेडी फ़िल्म गो गोवा गॉन बन चुकी है और लोगो ने उसे काफी पसंद किया गया है। हालही में गैंग ऑफ़ घोस्ट्स का ट्रैलर लॉन्च किया गया और इन पाँच दिनों के भीतर ही तक़रीबन २ लाख लोगो ने यू टुब पर देखा है।
   सतीश कौशिक कहते है यह एक प्यारी स्टोरी है यह कहनी उन भूतो कि जो सदियों पुराणी हवेली में रहते है और एक दिन बिल्डर कि नजर उस हवेली पर पद जाती है उससे एक संकट इन भूतो पर आता है। यह फ़िल्म भूतर भभिष्यत इस बंगाली फ़िल्म का रीमेक है।
      मेने माही गिल के बारे में काफी सुना था और मेने कई फिल्मे भी देखि है में माही का फैन हु माहि ने हमेशा कामुक रोल किये है पर इस फ़िल्म वह एक भुत के अवतार में नजर आएंगी। वह इस फ़िल्म के लिए सही है।    
     गैंग ऑफ़ घोस्ट्स यह फ़िल्म २१ मार्च को सभी सिनेमा घरों में प्रदर्शित होगी।

130 entries from 18 Indian cities compete for the DISS 2014
The Winners gets an all-expense-paid trip to London and an opportunity to attend the Jameson Empire Awards!


21st February 2014 – The True Irish Spirit, Jameson and Empire Magazine opened the Done in Sixty Seconds 2014 competition for entries in November 2013 and now, after a round of short-listing winners from across the country, announced the India entry for the DISS during the Jameson Empire Awards 2014. Keeping alive the legacy of the contest, the short film competition sees aspiring filmmakers from India pitting their entries against contestants from 16 other countries worldwide. Acclaimed film maker- Vikramaditya Motwane and Eminent film critic and media personality- Anupama Chopra chose the winning entries from across India. The winning filmmaker will travel to London with the both of them to attend the Jameson Empire Awards and be in attendance when the global winner of DISS is announced.

The DISS in India this year, in partnership with Talent House, garnered 130 entries from 18 different cities in India. Globally, in 2014, India emerged as the 2nd biggest contributor out of 16 countries, Russia having the biggest number of entries. This prestigious ranking was achieved by a massive number of entries from Mumbai (50 participants) followed by Delhi and Kolkata with 13 and 12 entries respectively. Bangalore, offered 11 short movies for this competition.

The competition challenges entrants to re-make their favourite Hollywood movie in just 60 seconds. The competition was open to people of all abilities; whether you’re an animator with a passion for Claymation, an action junkie with a love of budget special effects, or even a first-time director shooting your film on a smartphone.

The Jameson Empire Awards celebrate the film industry’s success stories of the year with Empire Magazine readers voting for the winners. The awards ceremony is deemed by many in the industry as the most entertaining yet serious awards in the British movie calendar, making it the perfect match for Jameson.





Renowned Film Critic Anupama Chopra says, “DISS is a super way to discover new talent. It's also great fun for both the filmmaker and us judges. I can't wait to see what all we accomplish in 60 seconds!”
