The title track features the director of the massy film, Abhinav Kashyap and the director of choreography, Remo D’souza.

After the track Battameez dil being a chart-buster and getting popular among the audiences with Ranbir’s moves choreographed by Remo D’souza,  the actor-choreographer duo is back again to create magic in his next film; Besharam’s title track.

The superstar, Ranbir Kapoor insisted that Abhinav and Remo should be a part of the song.

In fact, the actor choreographed the shot with Abhinav and Remo. The trio had an amazing time while shooting for the song and the song will surely be a treat to watch for all the crazy fans of Ranbir Kapoor as he puts on his dancing shoes yet again. 


DAR Motion pictures (DARMP) recently held a screening of Lunchbox especially for students of Business schools.

DAR Motion pictures (DARMP) recently held a screening of Lunchbox especially for students of Business schools.

Lately the makers had organized a screening for Harvard and London school of economics as one of their promotional exercise.

There were two screenings held for the alumni associations of INSEAD, Wharton, Harvard and London Business School. About 150 alumni turned up for the screening and the get together afterwards. In fact we had to turn away a lot of them as there was no availability in the screenings. The reactions have been ecstatic and people have taken to the film very much. There have been requests for similar screenings in Delhi and other places for the alumni located in these cities.

The screening was held at a theater in Worli.  This method is traditionally known as Focus Marketting. This kind of an exercise is largely practiced in the Hollywood industry. This film has also generated immense traction amongst our audience before it’s release.

Besides, various other international business schools have approached DAR Motion Pictures (DARMP) for a screening of the film Lunchbox.

NDTV and Vedanta today announced the launch of their unique initiative ‘NDTV Vedanta Our Girls Our Pride’, a first of its kind national movement to create awareness about issues related to the girl child, at an event held at The Leela, Chankayapuri, New Delhi. The key issues that the campaign will focus on are Nutrition, Education, Health, Foeticide and Infanticide.
Priyanka Chopra was named the brand ambassador for the campaign.  UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador for India, Priyanka has been actively involved in various causes related to the girl child for many years.  She has also personally supported this cause through the ‘Priyanka Chopra Foundation for Health and Education’, which works towards providing support to unprivileged girls across the country in the areas Education and Health.   
To launch the initiative, Campaign Ambassador, Priyanka Chopra joined Dr Prannoy Roy, Co-chairperson, NDTV and Mr. Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta in the capital. Also present at the launch were Dr A L Sharada, Programme Director, Population First, Ms. Neelam Singh, NGO Vatsalya, UP, Ms. Deepak Kalra, Chairperson for Child Rights Protection Committee in Rajasthan amongst many others.
Addressing the gathering via a live-link, the Hon’ble Minister for Women and Child Development Krishna Tirath said, “We should respect women in our society because both men and women are equal partners to bring out our society forward. According to our Constitution, we have equal rights, so we enjoy equal rights as men and women.”
On being introduced as Campaign Ambassador, Priyanka Chopra, said, “The upliftment of the girl child in India has been a cause that is very close to my heart.  In my role as UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador and through my experience with my personal foundation, I understand that while there have been some positive strides being made every day, there is still a serious amount of work that is still left to be done.  I am honoured to be a part of NDTV - Vedanta Our Girls Our Pride, which is a wonderful initiative. NDTV has pioneered several successful campaigns in the past, creating a positive change in the lives of many. My personal experience with NDTV on the Greenathon over many successful years gives me the belief that together we can work towards making a sustainable change. With this initiative we aim to change the lives of many girls and provide them with basic necessities to be able to lead a quality life. I’m looking forward to creating a successful campaign that will give everyone an opportunity to come together in making a better and brighter India for our young girls.”

In the recent past Farhan has been juggling with shooting Shaadi Ke Side effects and also promoting Fukrey and BMB with little or no time to give to his band, Farhan Live

However, now post the successful launch of both his film Farhan figured a convenient window to get back on stage.

It was a 70 minute performance where Farhan was seen singing one hit song after the other. He was full of enthusiasm and energy.

His audiences were enthused and were seen clapping, hooting and whistling with vigour and enthusiasm.

Farhan Live is a nine member band which got formed early this year.

Previously they have performed in Mumbai, Goa, Bangalore.

Says a friend of the actor, “ Farhan loves being on the stage. He had taken a break from his music for the past few months and now he is planning to go on tours across the country.” And after finishing with some remaining work on his upcoming film opposite Vidya Balan, Farhan will immerse himself in making music for his band.

Going forward, Farhan will be seen performing more often. The Farhan Live team is currently in conversation with various organizers and are working out the plan,logistics etc

Confirms Farhan, “ The band is now gearing up for a concert in Mumbai soon, post the monsoons.”
