Mumbai, May 27, 2013: Bata, India’s largest footwear retailer today launched its Monsoon Collection 2013, well in time for the country’s monsoon season to begin.  The versatile, aqua friendly collection for men and women was unveiled at The Sofitel Hotel in Mumbai, with a fashion show, which brought on stage the sensational show stopper, Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari.

The Monsoon Collection comprises the best of styles in footwear across Sunshine, Sandak and  Bata & I and includes a wide variety of flip-flops, jelly bellies, sandals and floaters in vibrant colors, that would not only add color to your outfit but would also brighten your days.

Dilip Sen – Sameer Sen Celebrated 25th years in Bollywood,
& 4th Generation Dada Saheb Phalke Awards

Duo Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen, chacha bhatija Team, of Music Directors the wonderful combination of second and third generation of Music Makers, Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen.  It was a three in one function, first 25th anniversary of Dilip Sen’s wedding, where he expressed his love for his wife and his family, second completion of their 25 years of their duo team “Dilip Sen – Sameer Sen” as music director, and third not getting award of “4TH GENERATION  DADA SAHEB PHALKE AWARD”.



The function was held in Sargam Bungalow at Mhada where in approximately entire media gave lots of applauds, including Bollywood guests like Actors Ali Khan, Sunil Pal, Ashik Mishra, Amitabh Dayal, Producer Director Mehul Kumar, Singer Sudesh Bhonsle, Ravi Tripathi, Sangeeta Kopalkar, Tarannum Mallik, Hamid Ali Qureshi, Lyricist M.Prakash, and  well-wisher Sanjay Bedia and S.P.Chaudhary.

The team of Music Composers, Belong To The Sen Family And They Have Inherited The Taste Tradition, Trend, Taste And Tunes From Sen Gharana And Using Their musical Skill To Enrich The Entertainment. Son of Jamal Sen, was Shambhu Sen, the father of Sameer Sen. He was the top Choreographer and has the credit of being the teacher of top dancers like Hema Malini, Yogita Bali, Sarika, Laxmi Chhaya, Manisha and Sujata etc.

Now the fourth generation Sohail Sen who gave music for “What’s your Rashee”, “Ek Tha Tiger”, “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan” and other films, bags 4th Generation Dada Saheb Phalke Awards. Sen comes from a family of musicians who have worked in the film industry and his entry into the film composing world marked the fourth generation of his family to do so. His father, Sameer Sen (of the music director duo Dilip Sen – Sameer Sen) has always been a strong influence in his life, as was his paternal grandfather Shri Shambhu Sen's singing( home town sujangarh(churu) Rajasthan). Sen started learning music at the age of six. He learnt to play the table as a child, and then went on to learn various musical instruments including the piano and percussion and rhythm instruments. He learnt classical music from his grandfather Shri Shambhu Sen. He began his career as a music director at the young age of thirteen when he composed the music for a telefilm titled Roshni and for which renowned singer Kavita Krishnamurthy provided playback. He then decided to assist his father for nine years to fine tune his skills as a film composer.

The vivacious Ameesha Patel for the first time will showcase her dark side in Susi Ganesh’s ‘Shortcut Romeo’. The actress had to work hard for the film as she had to show her evil side, which was not an easy task.

Commenting on bringing out a demonic emotion Ameesha says, “This was the most challenging role for me. This film has a mix of emotions, it has adultery, blackmailing, love and passion.”

Ameesha adds, “During shoots I use to get both mentally and physically drained.  For every scene I had to bring a demon in me, which is not my personality in real life. After reaching home, I use to be so exhausted that didn't had the energy to do anything.”

'Shortcut Romeo' is a remake of Susi Ganesh's super hit Tamil film 'Thiruttu Payale' and also features Neil Nitin Mukesh and Puja Gupta. The film is slated to release  on 21st June, 2013.

Mumbai, 25th May 2013: The first shot of Buddha, the tele-series produced by Spice Studios to be telecasted on Zee Network, was taken today at the magnanimous set created at the Film City in Mumbai.
On the auspicious occasion of  Buddha Purnima actors Kabir Bedi and Sameer Dharmadhikari enacted the first scene of the mega project in presence of the producer Dr BK Modi, and other distinguished guests.
The mega teles-eries historically follows the life of Prince Siddhartha and his transition from being a prince to Buddha.
The first shot of this serial was shot by the charismatic actor Sameer Dharmadhikari and the actor with sharp features and a royal aura; Kabir Bedi, who also plays an important role in the serial.
The first shot of the tele-series was preceded by an Amrapali dance performance that very beautifully recreated the era and the atmosphere for the guests present.Says Dr. B.K Modi,Global Chairman of Spice Global “It is absolutely an emotional moment for me as making Buddha is like a personal commitment that I made to myself. Buddha is perhaps the most important personality to have born in the recorded history of India and we are sparing no effort in making this effort special.
