IRON MAN 3   REVIEW


STORY
Sometime after the events of The Avengers, a haunted Tony Stark has obsessively built several Iron Man suits in his mansion. This causes friction with his girlfriend, new Stark Industries chief Pepper Potts. In a flashback to New Year's Eve 1999, Stark, with his scientist paramour Maya Hansen, arrogantly avoids crippled scientist Aldrich Killian, who wants Stark's backing in his endeavor Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM).
In present-day America, a string of bombings by terrorist the Mandarin has left intelligence agencies bewildered at the lack of forensic evidence. When Stark Industries security chief Happy Hogan is caught in one such attack, Stark revives himself from his stupor and issues a televised threat to the Mandarin, who responds by destroying Stark's home with helicopter gunships. Potts and Hansen, who had come to warn Stark, survive the attack. So does Stark, who finds himself in rural Tennessee after his artificial intelligence JARVIS follows a flight plan from Stark's investigation into the Mandarin. Stark's experimental armor lacks sufficient power to return to California, and the world believes him dead.
Teaming with Harley, a precocious 10-year-old boy, Stark investigates the remains of a local explosion bearing the hallmarks of a Mandarin attack. He discovers the explosions were triggered by soldiers from the Extremis program, an experimental treatment intended to allow its users to recover from crippling injuries. However, if a user's body cannot properly metabolize Extremis, the user heats up and explodes. After veterans started growing unstable and exploding, their deaths were used to cover up Extremis' flaws by manufacturing a terrorist plot. Stark witnesses Extremis first hand when Mandarin agents Ellen Brandt and Eric Savin attack him.
With Harley's help, Stark traces the Mandarin to Miami. Stark then infiltrates the headquarters using a variety of home-made weapons where he discovers the Mandarin is actually a British actor named Trevor Slattery, who is oblivious to the acts the Mandarin has carried out. The Mandarin is a creation of Killian, who appropriated Hansen's Extremis research as a cure for his own disability and expanded the program to include injured war veterans. Killian reveals he has kidnapped Pepper and subjected her to Extremis, intending to infuse her with superhuman abilities and turn her against Stark as leverage to gain Stark's aid in fixing Extremis' flaws.
Killian has also manipulated American intelligence agencies regarding the Mandarin's location, luring James Rhodes — the former War Machine, now rebranded as the Iron Patriot — into a trap to steal the armor. Stark escapes his captivity and reunites with Rhodes, discovering Killian intends to attack President Ellis aboard Air Force One. Remotely controlling his Iron Man armor, Stark saves the surviving passengers and crew but cannot stop Killian from abducting Ellis. They trace Killian to an impounded oil drilling platform where Killian intends to kill Ellis on live television. The Vice President will become a puppet leader, following Killian's orders in exchange for Extremis to cure a little girl's disability.
On the platform, Stark goes to save Potts, and Rhodes saves the President. Stark summons each of his Iron Man suits, controlled remotely by JARVIS, to provide air support. Rhodes secures the President and leads him to safety, while Stark discovers Potts has survived the Extremis procedure. However, before he can save her, a rig collapses around them and she falls 200 feet to her apparent death. Stark is forced into confronting Killian and traps him in an Iron Man suit that self-destructs. Potts, whose Extremis powers allowed her to survive her fall, kills Killian, who had survived the exploding armor.
After the battle, Stark orders JARVIS to remotely destroy each Iron Man suit, as a sign of his intention to devote more time to Potts. Both the Vice President and Slattery are arrested. Potts undergoes surgery to remove Extremis, and Stark to remove the shrapnel embedded near his heart. He then pitches his obsolete chest arc reactor into the sea, musing he will always be Iron Man, even without his armor.
In a post-credits scene, it is revealed that Stark has actually been talking to Dr. Bruce Banner, who awakens after having fallen asleep while Stark was recounting the events.

CRITIC VIEW.
Super hero Tony Stark [Robert Downey Jr.] is back yet again in battle field full of extravagant action and thrills to give you the adrenaline rush as much you desire.Some outstanding action sequence designed as larger then life house attacks of Tony Stark and amazingly filmed air rescue of air force one delegates is applaud able.

Some moments of emotional swings also keeps this super hero flick to a realistic cinema where you get a taste of a human side to the steel robot.

Lack of 3D visual clarity as the post-conversion has degraded the actual richness of viewing.But no matter as there is much more to it, to keep you engaged and  thrilled.

MOTION PICTURE DIST. ASSOCIATION (INDIA) JOINS SCREEN COMMUNITY IN CELEBRATION OF WORLD IP DAY

The Motion Picture Dist. Association (MPDA) joined the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) - IP Rights division, reputed law firm Anand& Anand, U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai, and the American Center, New Delhi, to celebrate World IP Day (April 26) and raise awareness on how protecting IP rights helps promote creativity and innovation in the motion picture industry and supports a viable environment for the next generation of creative filmmakers.

The week-long celebrations in Mumbai and Delhi included student debate competitions, participation in conferences, prizes for quiz competitions and screening of films.

The celebration started on 24th April in Delhi with a press conference by Anand & Anand to share insights on online piracy and tackling IP issues in new media followed by a screening of film on plagiarism on 26thApril for students in Mumbai while a screening of film ‘Django Unchained’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jammie Fox will be held at American Centre in Delhi on 27th April for over 150 guests that will include Government of India officials, The US Embassy and students from various universities in Delhi.

Mr. Uday Singh, Managing Director MPDA (India) said, “While India is the world’s largest producer of films, it also ranks among the top ten markets in the world for online content theft. As we celebrate and encourage innovation in the creative arts on World IP Day, Government and stakeholders need to unite to build a robust regulatory environment and law enforcement tools that support an internet that works for everyone. Only then will our young creative generation be able to have their valuable work protected and achieve their full potential.”

“IP is key to protect creativity and innovation. In the interest of future generations, we need to initiate discussions and ideas on a common platform where all stakeholders benefit. We are thankful to Motion Picture Association for extending their support to world IP Day celebration this year," said Dr. A. Didar Singh, Secretary General, FICCI

STORY.
Charlie Sheen and his partner Lindsay Lohan are attacked in their home by paranormal forces. Lindsay becomes possessed and then kills Charlie.
Charlie's three kids are reported missing and a reward is announced for their safe return. Several months later, Snoop Dogg and Mac Miller are in the Humboldt County woods in search of illegally-grown cannabis plants to steal. After stealing one and fleeing, they take shelter in a Cabin In The Woods.
Upon entering they see three strange creatures, later confirmed to be Charlie's kids, and turn them in for the reward. The feral children are placed in isolation at a child development research center for a few months until they are deemed well enough to be returned to familial custody. When Charlie's brother, Dan and his girlfriend Jody come to collect them, they are told they can have them if they agree to stay in a large suburban middle-class home fitted with security cameras. Jody is reluctant to take the kids at first but soon adjusts to having them. In an attempt to bond with their new children, Jody auditions for a ballet performance, Black Swan, and is cast in the lead role as the Swan Queen.
Meanwhile, a continuing pattern of bizarre paranormal activity in their new home makes them investigate further. They eventually learn from the children that the attacks on their home are by "Mama", the mother of the children, who is under a curse and is trying to get them back so she can sacrifice both her and them. Maria, the couple's Hispanic live-in maid, is frightened and keeps experimenting with various rituals, Catholic and otherwise, to ward off the evil spirits in the house. During the day, Dan is frustrated with the modest progress of his test subjects at a primate intelligence research facility; ironically, Dan is not bright enough to realize that one of the chimpanzees, Caesar, is now actually much smarter than him.
Jody and Dan, with the help of their close friend Kendra, must find a way to lift the curse and save their family. Along the way, they seek the assistance of psychic Blaine Fulda, who turns out to be a complete fraud, and a dream extractor named Dom Kolb, who helps them understand that the solution
to their problems lies in the Cabin in the Woods.

CRITIC VIEW.
Complete entertainment that's SCARY MOVIE 5 for you,gags of all movie [inception,evil dead,paranormal activity and more].Outrageously funny at times and scary in bits.Forgettable would be Charlie Sheen and lindsay lohan in a opening sequence which really makes no sense of wasting such talent in this latest franchise.
Director Malcolm D Lee  has done a average job in a hurry to deliver this instalment which will leave audience in a jerk.
Just go and watch if you have a silly taste of time pass stuff and you would'nt regret.

CULVER CITY, Calif., April 17, 2013 – Pop icon Britney Spears will release a song for Columbia Pictures/Sony Pictures Animation’s highly anticipated family comedy The Smurfs™ 2, entitled “Ooh La La,” via Kemosabe / RCA Records. “Ooh La La,” which will play at the end credits of the film, was written by Lukasz Gottwald (Dr. Luke), Joshua Coleman (Ammo), Henry Walter (Cirkut), Bonnie McKee, Jacob Kasher Hindlin (J Kash), Lola Blanc and Fransisca Hall and produced by Dr. Luke, Ammo and Cirkut for Prescription Songs. The Smurfs 2, the sequel to the hit hybrid live action/animated film that took in over $560 million at the worldwide box office in 2011, is set to hit theaters on July 31, 2013.
