Ranveer Singh wishes for good health for Anil Kapoor's ailing mother
Anil Kapoor has been spending his recent hours hopping in and out of the hospital.
Both his matriarchs have been admitted to hospitals on individual occasions.
Anil Kapoor, known to be close to his Mother-in-law witnessed a tough phase while ill health circled her.
Now, it is his own mother that has been admitted to the hospital.
Anil Kapoor hurriedly returned from LA to be at his mother’s service.
On learning about Anil’s mother’s health, his on screen son Ranveer Singh expressed his concern.
The duo have rebounded on the sets of ‘Dildhadakne do’ and shared a great chemistry showcasing a “father-son” relation.
It is not very commonly known that Anil Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are related to each other with Anil Kapoor being Ranveer’s uncle.
Ranveer wished for Anil’s mother’sgood health and early recovery.
The young actor also, extended support and ensured availability to his on screen father.
In the light of the moment, Anil Kapoor seems to be torn between his work and personal life, but seems to strike a balance between both.

Ranveer Singh was seen spinning to the tunes of Dil Dhadakne Do in his “hot and sexy man” charm at the Sunday brunch

Well, as always Zoya Akhtar takes a unique course of action by kicking off her upcoming movie Dil Dhadakne Do’s promotion with a Sunday brunch, the brunch was on May 3 at the Tote on the Turf, Mumbai. The cast- Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah and the director were seen having a gala time at the brunch. The film is about a flawed Punjabi family sailing on a cruise across the Mediterranean. This multi-starrer has already created a lot of buzz and is continuing to do so.

But the actor to rejoice the most was our “hot and sexy “Ranveer Singh. Ranveer is known to make his presence at any event jovial and full of zing and so he did at the brunch by shaking his leg on the tunes of the title track “Dil Dhadakne Do” sung by Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar on the stage and not to mention around everyone’s table too! Ranveer later on jumped on to the much loved step “Dhina Dhin Dha” by Anil Kapoor where he dragged Anil and Farhan on the stage with him. Both the actors happily joined Ranveer on the stage and performed the trademark step.

But the actors of DDD have gone way beyond expectation in showing off in their beautiful ensembles at the Sunday brunch, the cast was seen wearing pastel shades and cool, heat free fabrics.

Where one expected Anushka and Priyanka to enter the brunch in their usual stunning and bold  attire, both the charming women chose to come in summer colours and must say they rocked the brunch for sure. Anushka was in an off white jumpsuit by Bhavya Bhatnagar with funky gold danglers and light brown cat eyes whereas Priyanka looked sensuous in a pink dress by Verb, white pumps and gold rimmed shades.

Oh, and Ranveer had come in off lately preferred style, a purple floral blazer, purple stripped T-Shirt and a hat. He looked awesome in his flowery ensemble.

Shraddha Kapoor would love her mom to sing for her

Young actress Shraddha Kapoor’s singing talents are known to all. The actress has lent her voice to two of her movie songs. The unplugged version of Galliyan that she sang for Ek Villain even won her a singing award.

However, the actress gets this from her mom, Shivangi Kolhapure Kapoor. Her mom, daughter of the classical singer, Pt. Pandharinath Kolhapure is a phenomenal singer herself.

Shraddha is very close to her mom and she would absolutely love for her mom to lend her voice to any of her films.

Shraddha shares, "Mom is a fabulous singer and I really want her to sing for some of my movie."

Whenever the two have some time on hand, they often sing together and discuss music at length.

The actress will be heard singing again in her next film, Rock On 2!

1. Breaking the stereotype of a traditional family dil dhadakne do comes up with a dysfunctional family.

Bollywood has flair to show stereotype, particularly related to families, the families we see on screen are the traditional families with fabricated relationships, Dil Dhadakne Do has added a fresh breeze to the relationships, it’s a story about a dysfunctional Punjabi family which portrays the reality of relationships.

The family has four members, the head of the family is Kamal Mehra, played by Anil Kapoor and his wife is Neelam Mehra the role is essayed by Shefali Shah. They try to portray to the world that they are a happily married couple, but have their own personal differences. They have two kids, Kabir Mehra, played by Ranveer Singh, who is like the most desirable bachelor for their family, who doesn’t want to get married and lastly, they have a daughter Ayesha Mehra played by Priyanka Chopra, who wants a divorce from her husband.

The relationships which the movie portrays are more relatable, this shows that Bollywood is breaking the stereotypes and moving towards a more realistic approach.

Anurag Kashyap has recreated the 60’s era for Bombay Velvet. From the sets to the actors’ looks and costumes, everything has been designed and created from scratch.

Since the costumes belong to that period, they have been intricately designed and are very heavy. In fact, the entire casts’ costumes collectively weigh about 25,000 kg.

The makers of the film have decided to auction some of the costumes and donate the proceeds to charity.

About 1,200 to 1,500 of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma’s costumes will be auctioned online next week.

So people can now own Ranbir and Anushka’s outfits.

A lot of detailing and effort has gone into each and every costume.

Numerous tailors were hired to stitch the outfits. In fact, besides the lead actors and supporting cast, even the junior artistes were wearing elaborate costumes.

There is great anticipation for Bombay Velvet that is slated to release on 15th May.

Omung Kumar next on Sarabjit!

National award-winning Mary Kom’s filmmaker bags the much-talked about project based on the life of Sarabjit Singh

Filmmaker Omung Kumar, whose directorial debut Mary Kom won the National Award for Best Popular Film of 2013, has locked in his next project – Sarabjit. Omung says, “Yes, I will be directing and co-producing Sarabjit. Even though I have three scripts lined up, this will be my next film after Mary Kom.” A biopic on Sarabjit Singh, the film is expected to roll in the first week of October.

Producer Zeishan Qadri confirms signing on Omung. “Omung is the perfect choice because Mary Kom was both a critically acclaimed film and a commercial success,” shares Zeishan, adding that the film will go on floors in the first week of October with a start-to-finish 60-day schedule. “It will be shot in and around Punjab. We want to send it to Cannes and release it by the end of May 2016.” 

In the film, Sarabjit’s story will be told through the eyes of his sister, Dalbir Kaur. After Sarabjit was convicted of terrorism and spying by the Pakistani court and sentenced to death in 1991, it was his sister Dalbir, who started a campaign for his release. Due to her efforts and that of the Indian government, Sarabjit’s execution was indefinitely delayed, but he was attacked on April 26, 2013 in the Central Jail Lahore and on May 1, was declared brain dead. The following day, he was reported to have died at 12.45 am, and his body was flown back to India where a second autopsy revealed that his vital organs were missing and his skull was broken into two. 

It was reported that Kangana Ranaut is in talks for the role of Dalbir Kaur, however the filmmakers insist that though they would love to work with her, they have not finalised any actor as yet.

Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara starrer “Hot Pursuit" is a letdown of a movie and ridicule to a female buddy comedy, some where the Director demonstrate women’s cannot be the best of buddies. Academy Award-winning Reese Witherspoon [Walk the Line] must be on a whirl of signing movies without being rapt about the upshot of her role as an asinine inept police officer, surely this role of her will be not for the predictable hall of fame in near future.
The worst part Vergara [one of People magazine's "50 most beautiful people"] horrifically underrates her sexual influence with a cliché role as just customary always being seen in all her films, fails to ignite the screen.    
 
Director Anne Fletcher [The Proposal] has one feather down from her cap, ostensibly after roping in Witherspoon and Vergara as principal producer of "Hot Pursuit” also did not create much of a firework in a women centric film.   
 
The chortle atmosphere is missing which normally keeps the audiences engaged as the run-of-the-mill situations that are not so very funnier. There are silly situation as a thorny shoot-out leaves Riva's [Vergara] husband Felipe [Vincent Laresca] in a pool of blood in no time as Cooper [Witherspoon] and her associate are dumbstruck by the mayhem and a insignificant chase of the dirty cops and drug dealers in the entire movie has been staged without any adrenaline and low key action pace. Strictly to be missed.

JOINT STATEMENT BY PRODUCERS BODIES DATED 6TH MAY, 2015

Subsequent to a meeting between officials/representatives of Producers Bodies (Guild,

IFTPC and IMPPA) and the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) on 5th May,

2015, it was unanimously decided that FWICE will call off the proposed strike of its 22 crafts

from 6th May, 2015.

In the said meeting the revised wages for Hindi films and television programmes were

mutually agreed upon along with other issues such as payment of One Shift for

film/television Shoots scheduled anywhere in India, even for shoots outside Mumbai, Non

Stoppage of Shooting for any reason whatsoever by FWICE or its affiliates and many others

points were discussed and agreed upon and will be added in the New Memorandum of

Understanding (MoU).

It was also decided that a Joint Sub Committee comprising 3-4 representatives each from

Producers Bodies and FWICE to be constituted which will discuss all other issues pertaining

to the New MoU and submit the New MoU as mutually agreed and decided by both

Producers Bodies and FWICE to the Empowered Committee. The New MoU will be signed

latest by 20th June, 2015 with a grace period of one additional week.

The wage increment mutually agreed by Producers Bodies and FWICE will be applicable on

the current wages of members of Allied Mazdoor Union, Junior Artists Association and

Fighters. For the other crafts which fall under contractual agreements between workers and

producers, the base rate for these affiliate members’ will be decided by the Joint Sub

Committee of FWICE and Producers Bodies.

The terms and conditions of MoU including wage revision will be applicable from the date of

signing of MoU.

According to a recent survey conducted by a leading daily, former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the special list for women who remain 'Forever Desirable'. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the first women to enter this super special 'Forever Desirable' club. Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who will soon be seen in Jazbaa, has topped the special list of the Forever desirable women of 2014.

According to this survey in a leading newspaper, this timeless beauty got the maximum number of votes. 

These are women who could've easily topped this list several times over the last few years, given how desirable they are. With plenty of contenders clamoring to be a part of this most desirable league year after year, a separate list will only make room for more new entrants.

The actress, who has the huge fan follower all over the world , won the poll as the  most desirable women's list in 2012 and 2013 also.

Ashwariya Rai has Jazbaa this year to be realease and also she will be sharing screen space with Anushaka Sharma in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Yami Gautam has taken up an interesting fitness regime recently.

The pretty actress who has been following a strict fitness regime now has gone ahead and chosen a fun way to fitness with Zumba.

Zumba is a fitness regime that helps you work on your entire body and also helps in building strength and enjoying throughout the process.

Yami has recently picked this up and is enjoying workouts like never before as this includes dance and music.

She feels that it also makes you feel upbeat when you start your day with Zumba.

So, she did her research and invested in some interesting Zumba DVDs which she starts her day with.

They are also with Yami in her bag when she is traveling for shoots.

Says Yami,  “Zumba is an absolute fun way to stay fit. The music and dance routine helps you release stress and keeps you very happy. In fact, you are smiling throughout the session which is the best way to start your day. I’ve been enjoying it so far and it has been a whole lot of fun. Besides, I can do this wherever I go and at my own pace.”

The actress is currently in the midst of her shooting schedule for her next. She recently wrapped up a long schedule in Patiala for the same.
