Bollywood has flair to show stereotype, particularly related to families, the families we see on screen are the traditional families with fabricated relationships, Dil Dhadakne Do has added a fresh breeze to the relationships, it’s a story about a dysfunctional Punjabi family which portrays the reality of relationships.
The family has four members, the head of the family is Kamal Mehra, played by Anil Kapoor and his wife is Neelam Mehra the role is essayed by Shefali Shah. They try to portray to the world that they are a happily married couple, but have their own personal differences. They have two kids, Kabir Mehra, played by Ranveer Singh, who is like the most desirable bachelor for their family, who doesn’t want to get married and lastly, they have a daughter Ayesha Mehra played by Priyanka Chopra, who wants a divorce from her husband.
The relationships which the movie portrays are more relatable, this shows that Bollywood is breaking the stereotypes and moving towards a more realistic approach.

The recently released trailer of Dil Dhadakne Do has gained a huge response on the social media and has become the talk of the town; the movie is all set to release on June 5.
