Kriti Sanon plans her sister's first international trip.

The actress who made her big debut in Sajid Nadiadwala's Heropanti last year was born and brought up in a middle class family in Delhi and is managing on her own in Bombay now.

While Kriti's parents planned her first trip abroad and made it special, the actress wanted to do the same for her younger sister as she is the only one in her family who has not taken an international trip yet.

She has personally looked into all the details right from booking the tickets, her stay, list of places to visit in Thailand.

Kriti shares a very close bond with her sister and she wanted to do this for her.

Vidya Balan to be conferred with the degree of Doctor of Arts Honoris Causa.

Powerhouse performer, Vidya Balan, will be conferred with the degree of Doctor of Arts Honoris Causa by Rai University at a special convocation ceremony held at suburban five star hotel on Monday.

The University has decided to award Vidya Balan with an Honorary Doctorate for her exceptional contribution to the Indian Film Industry and for her contribution to Empowering Womanhood in the country.

While Vidya Balan’s unmatched excellence and dedication to her craft , has won her several accolades including a National award and several Filmfare awards. . This includes completely free University education for the entire duration of degree program at Rai University, including boarding and lodging for one underprivileged girl nominated by Vidya every year.

S S Rajamouli to create a museum of his upcoming film.

For the first time ever, in Indian cinema, there is a museum being created of a film.

This will have all the weapons, armours and costumes of all the actors in the film.

Something like this happens for Hollywood films but this is the first time that its happening for a film in Indian Cinema.

Even when Karan Johar, the presenter of the film got to know about it, he was very excited about it.

The museum will be absolutely spectacular going by what we have seen and heard of the film yet.

This is the biggest film being made indian cinema.

Rajamouli is one of the most coveted directors who has made cult films like Makkhi, Magadheera and Maryada Ramanna earlier.

When contacted, the producer of the film, Shobu Yarlagadda, says, “It is Rajamouli sir’s idea to create the museum. It’s a first for India. We’re excited about it.”

'Dead student’s' song finds way in film now?

Back in 2011, a single Emptiness was making waves all over the internet and the song continues to be a rage till date. The song was credited to an IIT student named Rohan Rathore, who apparently after being heart-broken in love composed the song for his girlfriend. Rohan was said to have died of cancer 15 days after the song. However, soon it came to light that the song had been composed and sung by Gajendra Verma and that Rohan Rathore was a phony name with an equally bogus story. Now, after releasing the hit in an album, the music composer has decided to lend his song for a film Chor Bazaari that stars newbie Ankkit Narrayan. Ironically, the said to be ‘stolen’ song is being used in a film whose hero is a chor as the profession has been passed on to him in his genes!

Initiates ‘Don’t Be Horny’ campaign in association with the Mumbai Traffic Police to curb noise pollution in the city

Cannes appreciated Masaan to release on 24th July across India

Masaan, the debut feature of Neeraj Ghaywan, has won the acclaimed FIPRESCI and the Promising Future awards at the 68th Cannes International Film Festival. The film, which premiered last week at the festival, was greeted by a 5 minute long standing ovation by the critics and reviewers. This time around for Baaghi, Sajid and Sabbir have planned a very different look for Tiger. It is for the first time that the actor will be seen in such a distinct look.

So they have hired 50 additional security people to protect his look from being leaked.

Moreover, it is not just Tiger’s look that is being hidden, but also the set of the film. The makers do not want anything to go out as of now and are maintaining strict protection for the same.

It will be very interesting to see a new and fresh pairing of Tiger and Shraddha in Baaghi.

Well the citizens of California are waiting for a major earthquake along a fault in California where the North American and the Pacific tectonic plates meet and slide past each other, this fault has been predicted for many years as ‘San Andreas’.

Though there is a tradition of Disaster Movies coming from Hollywood Studios ‘San Andreas’ doesn’t stand tall to any of the preceding The Day After Tomorrow (2004),Deep Impact (1998), The Impossible (2012),The Perfect Storm (2000),The Poseidon Adventure (1972) and many have been made and still many to follow the suit.

Present generation disaster movies can only be out of the ordinary if it has great novel use of the CGI with minimal duration and more focus on a great narrative with a fantastic cast and performance.

Yet again what we see in this latest edition of such movies is a very weak story idea which revolves around a family affected by the major earthquake. Chief Ray Gaines search-and-rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) is navigating the destruction site from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save his daughter Blake Gaines (Alexandra Daddario).

Absolute disappointment in all the section of making a spectacular visually appealing film, my thumbs down for this popcorn entertainer.
