The new cool trend that recently drove everyone crazy was the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. It made quite a few headlines as many celebrities from the east to the west were seen taking up the challenge. Known for spoofing the trendiest issues, Culture machine- a digital video entertainment company for the internet generation has come up with a parody on the desperado of the celebrities who took the Ice Bucket Challenge to garner publicity.
The video called ‘Likes Likes Baby’ by the Being Indian channel on YouTube is a rap on all the famous as well as infamous celebrities who were ‘brave’ enough to take the challenge. The video is a mash up of all the clips where Bollywood stars poured ice on themselves in the name of charity. Accepting the challenge without even knowing what ALS is all about is sheer foolishness which has been hilariously woven into a recreated version of famous rap song Ice Ice Baby! Getting more likes on Facebook by uploading their Ice Bucket Challenge videos seemed to be the agenda. From Akshay Kumar to Sania Mirza to Poonam Pandey, everyone wanted to donate for the people of America. The funniest part of the video was everyone doing charity for America when Indians themselves are struggling for basic necessities. It also features the legendary Baba Sehgal and his famous song- Thanda Thanda Pani! Towards the end comes the hysterical Veenu Mallesh doing his own version of The Ice Bucket challenge.

When one thinks of the Indian celebrities that have made a mark internationally, Lisa Ray will be top of the list.
The International luxury watch brand recently shot a commercial with Lisa and Bollywood’s Super star Hrithik Roshan. The duo shot the ad in Mumbai. The advertisement features the gorgeous lady dressed as a European Barista in the classic black and white attire. The minimalist classy look and the honest disarming million watt smile are to die for.
The actress shot with Hrithik for the first time and the duo had a lot of fun shooting the commercial. The two have also captured the fun in a series of selfies that they uploaded on their social media accounts.
Speaking about the experience the actress said, “It was a pleasure to shoot the ad with Hrithik and a highlight of long association with RADO as ambassador. ‘Time to Surprise’ is a great script, more like a mini-action film, based on a chase with a twist at the end. Hrithik is the consummate professional, and its inspiring to watch him work. He’s also a genuine and soulful person. We had a blast. I look forward to working with him again. He is a great person to hang out with.”

Wave cinemas Ponty Chadha present A Soundarya Production’s, ‘Jigariyaa’, directed by Raj Purohit, produced by Raju Chadha & Vinod Bachchan, starring Harshvardhan Deo and Cherry Mardia along with Virendar Saxena, K.K. Raina, Navni Parihar, Natasha Rastogi, Vineeta Malik, Deepak Chadha, Kettan Singh, is slated for 10th October 2014 release.

September 11, 2014 – Goa Tourism is roped in as the destination partner for the English- Hindi satirical bollywood movie Finding Fanny scheduled to be released soon. With the movie plot surrounded by 5 dysfunctional and contrasting characters set in a village of Goa, the State’s tourism body was chosen to be the perfect destination partner keeping in mind Goa is the world’s only tourist destination that has the maximum contrasts in the smallest geographical space.
Honorable Minister for Tourism, Mr. Dilip Parulekar said, “Goa being just 3702 sq.kmin size, offers many contrasting experiences in the space of an hour which no other destination in the world can offer in such a small space. Goa Tourism was looking for a perfect partner to launch this new brand positioning and we found the perfect match in Finding Fanny where there are five contrasting characters looking for Fanny in the land of contrasts!”
Goa Tourism has recently undergone a brand make over to encapsulate the State’s contrasting rich tangible heritage which is in the form of forts, temples, churches, natural beauty and even richer intangible heritage in the various forms of dances, music, traditions and culture. The State’s new identity is an Ambigram that appears the same from either side and in this case, captures the contrasts within the same geographical space. The other unique feature being a dynamic logo, making Goa the third place in the world to use dynamic logos. The colors of the logo will change based on seasonality and focus of the state.
Goa Tourism also has a new brand line which is the world’s first dynamic tourism brand line – kenna, which means sometimes. The word ‘kenna’ makes it the first ‘Kin-glish’ line brand Goa has had, setting it apart from all the other brands. It can be used to bring contrasts such as kenna romance, kenna adventure; kenna rough, kenna smooth; kenna slow, kenna fast; kenna calm, kenna clamour; kenna party, kenna safari; kenna classic, kenna modern, etc.

In a small place
Pocolim a village in Goa Ferdie [Naseeruddin Shah] receives a letter which was
undelivered to one Stefanie Fernandes [Fanny] 46 years ago on which he had
proposed to her but had assumed being rejected for these many years, thus living
down in the dumps. Angie [Deepika Padukone] a virgin widow living in the neibgourhood
with her loathsome mother-in-law Rosie [Dimple Kapadia] persuade Ferdie to find
fanny and propose her back again.
Angie who has a
lost love tale with a pungent mechanic [Arjun Kapoor] convinces him to drive
and borrow the vintage car from a quarrelsome and lusting artist Pedro [Pankaj
Kapur] who superfluously joins them for the journey.
A chaotic five some engage into amusing events on the journey that alters their lives to different level perpetually. Will Ferdie get her lost love back; 100 minutes of a fairy tale storytelling will rekindle emotions in you and the joy of watching the veterans give their best performance.

Life Ok’s Ek Boond Ishq celebrates its one year completion
The cast and crew cut a huge cake to celebrate the show’s success.
Life Ok's popular daily show Ek Boond Ishq that went on air on 9th September 2013 recently completed a successful year.
The cast and crew of the show got together to celebrate this success. The set brimmed with energy as the show’s main leads Mrityunjay (Viraf Phiroz Patel), Tara (Chhavi Pandey) and other cast members cut a huge chocolate cake to begin the celebrations.
Speaking on the happy occasion of the show completing a year Viraf said “Ek Boond Ishq has been my first daily soap and is extremely special to me. It feels really nice to see the show complete a year. Time flies soon and I can’t believe it’s already been a year. I’d like to thank the entire team for making this journey so memorable and the audience for watching us.”

3 AM events to be held at haunted locations
The makers of an upcoming horror film 3 AM have devised an interesting marketing strategy.
Keeping in mind the genre of the film they have decided to scout for haunted places in various cities where they can visit for promotions.
The idea cropped up in one of the marketing meetings and since then has been actively discussed among the team.
They have been conducting a research and also talking to people in the surrounding vicinity to know more.
However the actors have been slightly apprehensive about the idea.
The team has been sitting at length to talk to them and reassure them.
They are also looking into logistics and checking places which are convenient to access and host events. They are sorting permissions from required authorities.
The team wants to set the tone of the film and are walking lengths to achieve this.

Very few know that Sonam Kapoor was offered to play the lead role in Homi Adajania's Finding Fanny ,but had to turn it down due to prior commitments.However,the gracious actress watched the film at a special screening organized by director Homi Adajania who she shares a great equation with.
Sonam Kapoor has been speaking highly about the trailer and was very keen on watching cousin Arjun Kapoor's performance in it, not to mention, Deepika Padukone whose work she deeply admires.
Reveals a source, "Sonam was offered Finding Fanny but had to turn it down ,however, that has not stopped her from supporting director Homi Adjania and cousin Arjun Kapoor.So despite her hectic schedule when Homi extended an invitation for a special screening , Sonam immediately agreed and watched the film.Sonam is known to be all heart and has always worn her heart on her sleeve , she loved Deepika's performance in the film and didn't hold back her praise when she met her at the screening.They greeted eachother warmly and spoke at length about the film"

On any day, if they pack up late, they ensure that the women/ girls on the set are given cars to be dropped home safely.
They have arranged for cars and trusted drivers who have been with them for some time now to drop the female cast and crew home at odd hours.
