Farhan and Ritesh prioritize safety of women

Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have prioritized safety of women in their own small way.

Currently, Excel Entertainment’s, Dil Dhadakne Do, is in their Bombay shooting schedule.

Since, on some days, their shoot would go beyond 10.30 pm, the producers made arrangements for cars to drop their female crew back home.

On any day, if they pack up late, they ensure that the women/ girls on the set are given cars to be dropped home safely.

They have arranged for cars and trusted drivers who have been with them for some time now to drop the female cast and crew home at odd hours.

In this way, they are assured that there is least possibility of any sort of mishap and the girls are safe.

They feel that as citizens it is our responsibility to make sure that we try and bring about a change at an individual level. We cannot just sit at home and complain.

Farhan says "If we pack up later than 10.30 pm there are cars on set so everybody reaches home safely. We ensure the girls and their families are not worried about their ride back home. It is important to take necessary safety measures at an individual level."
