Deepika Padukone

If we thought that Deepika Padukone’s versatility was limited to the varied roles that we saw her playing in her back to back hits last year in Race 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaani, Ram Leela & Chennai Express, there is a lot more to come from the actress which will surprise the audiences.

The actress will be seen in completely diverse looks in her releases to come. Knowing Deepika, we have seen her choose roles that are very different from her previous roles.

Starting from her look in Finding Fanny which shows her as a Goan for the first time to a Maharashtrian look  in Happy New Year it is a wide range that Deepika will be seen covering in terms of her characters and looks.

Post Finding Fanny and Happy New Year, we will also see Deepika in different looks and characters in Tamasha, Piku and Bajirao Mastani.

Imtiaz who usually does not prefer to repeat his female cast has however made an exception with Deepika.

Infact, Deepika has been repeated by most of her directors. She made a roaring debut with Om Shanti Om, 6 years ago. After all this while when Farah was making her next romantic film she could not think of anyone else to cast but Deepika Padukone.

Even Homi Adajania who had his first outing with Cocktail signed Deepika for his next. Even though Finding Fanny is a very different film from Cocktail, he was sure Deepika would convincingly deliver this side of the spectrum as well.

Deepika will also be seen working with Sanjay Leela Bansali after Ram Leela. Sanjay Leela Bansali, who has a gracious way of making his heroines look has casted her for the role of Mastani in Bajirao Mastani.

Evelyn Sharma Makes Her International Singing Debut

Evelyn Sharma makes her
 International
singing debut!

Evelyn Sharma is no stranger to the international entertainment scenario. After having started off as a model
across the world
, Evelyn made her debut in
an American
film before making her way into Bollywood
.
Seems like this pretty lass is now all set again to makes waves internationally as she gears up for her debut as a singer!

Unlike other
Indian
actors, Evelyn's song is not a Indi-Pop number; but a part of the alternative genre that is less commercial and more music
.
Always having been a shy singer, Evelyn was encouraged by her friends to consider singing commercially
 and
It all came to place when she was approached by a renowned Indo-American rapper, Brooklyn Shanti
for his album
.
Interestingly Brooklyn
 Shanti
met Evelyn on the sets of 'From Sydney With Love' a movie for which Brooklyn
Shanti
composed music for. That's where
he
discovered Evelyn's singing prowess
.

Not only did Evelyn give the song her voice, she also turned writer and wrote the entire piece
 which
Brooklyn
Shanti produced
.
The song called Something Beautiful
; is a song very close to Evelyn and it speaks about herself and her journey. It's about how at a point in time, she didn't feel beautiful or talented but then someone else ends up seeing what you can't in yourself.

The song is meant to be a motivation for others to believe in themselves
.

The album is slated for an August release and has been shot completely in New York. Evelyn will be seen sporting exquisite gowns
 in the music video

by her designer friend
s
 Rocky S
, Sonaakshi Raaj & Wendell
Rodrick
s.
Evelyn in her teens sang for her Church Choir, and that's what nurtured her singing while today she is set to debut at an International Platform
.
What's exciting is, post this single she's also gearing up to release her first solo album
.

Rani gets gifted by the Interpol

YRF’s Mardaani is the story of a cop in search of a girl, led into the world of
human
trafficking in India. Rani Mukherji plays a no-nonsense, fearless cop.

A high ranking lady Interpol inspector educated Mardaani’s team on women cops. She was integral in sharing details with them about female cops in the field.

Rani was keen on getting the nuances and mannerisms of a female cop right. She went the extra length to prepare for her role and trained hard for this film.

Rani impressed critics and fans and her role as a tough cop has been appreciated well. The inspector was keen on meeting Rani and she visited the Mardaani set in Mumbai.

The inspector gave Rani her feedback and congratulated her. She was quite impressed by the actress.

The inspector even gifted Rani a silver plate with a lovely Interpol engraving.

Rani was touched by this gesture. She is excited for her film that releases on 22nd August.

Govinda and Ranveer compete on the sets of Kill Dil

Ranveer Singh has been a fan of Govinda since his childhood. The star goes speechless in front of the superstar Govinda and is simply crazy about him. Ranveer is ecstatic to be sharing screen space with Govinda in YRF’s Kil Dil, along with Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra.

The cast and crew had a gala time on the sets. On some nights after pack up, Ali Zafar who is a brilliant guitar player would entertain the unit by playing his guitar. Everyone would break into a jig at some point.

The songs played were mostly from Govinda’s films to which his biggest fan Ranveer would dance the most. One night there was a dance off between Ranveer and his idol Govinda. The unit began cheering and clapping for the two actors.

Ranveer put up a great show with his dance moves and infectious energy. But he was no match for the king of dancing and Govinda walked away as the winner hands down. The unit had great fun and the night was truly entertaining.

Kapil Sharma’s no won’t stop Hate Story 2

Kapil Sharma’s no won’t stop Hate Story 2

Hate Story 2, an erotic thriller, which is applauded by masses on social sites has been turned down by Kapil Sharma to promote on his show, Comedy nights with Kapil, due to its bold content. Producers were not worried about Kapil’s ‘No’ as the trailer received million of hits and is popular among people. Since going to channels is part of promotional activity and not something unusual.

“They refused to integrate with Hate Story 2 as they felt that the subject of the film was risqué and bold. The film folk were told that CNWK is meant for family audiences, but at the same time Kapil cracks jokes with sexual innuendos on the show.” Says a source

Further the source adds “As Jay and Surveen are TV actors, the film’s makers felt that it was a good way to promote their show. But they were taken aback when their request was turned down.”

Hate story 2 starring Jay Bhanushali, Surveen Chawla and Sushant Singh, produced under the banner of T-series is slated for 18th July release.

As she see’s Dave perform the number she’s taken aback and realizes that he is  more passionate about his career then love.
