Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming release, Kick, which is also his directorial debut, has been a much awaited release of 2014.

The trailer of the film was recently launched in a single screen theatre amidst thousands of people and huge fanfare.

On Sunday evening, the trailer went up on the public domain and within 59 hours, the trailer has crossed five million views on YouTube which is the fastest 5 million views ever.

It has gone out to break all the records and become the biggest success of any trailer in B-town. Not just that, the trailer has also crossed 49000 likes.

Having some time to spare now, the actor is actively reading scripts and deciding what he should be doing next.

Shahid has dedicated 3 - 4 hours a day to reading scripts. He wants to ensure the film he signs is challenging and helps him push the envelope as an actor.

Shahid’s last outing was R… Rajkumar which was an out and out masala film, post which her started shooting for Haider.

Going forward he is keen to do roles which allow him to experiment and build on his craft.

He is keen to explore different genres and diverse roles. Thus he is on the lookout for good scripts which excite and inspire him.

Source close to Shahid shares “He has been reading scripts and actively discussing work with close friends and family.”

SAB TV’s latest alien comedy series ‘Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai’ has received an encouraging response from viewers of all age groups across the country.

In the ongoing track, the alien family is visited by a member of the most powerful and intelligent beings from outer space – Optimus Prime – leader of the Autobots - one of the most popular character from Transformers. The entire crew including the children and all the other actors were excited to see him and had a gala time snapping photos and shooting with the Autobot leader. Optimus Prime has come to seek support from the alien family for building his own army.

Sumeet Raghavan aka Vasant Ghotala said, “It was truly amazing to shoot a sequence with Optimus Prime. I am a die-hard fan of Transformers and have seen each and every movie and I am eagerly waiting for the latest Transformers movie to hit the theaters. Also the story of the ongoing sequence is truly innovative. All the child artists on our show were awe struck when they saw the robot on sets.”

 

Rupali Bhosale aka Varsha Ghotala said, “The robot was gigantic! And I loved the entire sequence that we shot with the Optimus robot. I am a big fan of sci-fi movies and considering our show also has an element of science fiction, the presence of the Autobot leader only boosted our enthusiasm levels. Pavitra Punia, a Delhi girl shot to fame with MTV Splitsvilla season 3. She has also done TV serials like Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki and Love You Zindagi. She now joins the list of actors, who have made their Bollywood dreams come true.

Pavitra has signed her first Bollywood project, ‘Siddhartha – Love Lust and Peace’. The movie is being produced by Prabhat Pandey, presented by Onex Entertainment, and is being directed by, Mukul Mishra. She also gets to share screen space with, director Mahesh Bhatt (who is doing his acting debut), Shahzan Padamsee and Shivam Bhargav, who plays the male lead. According to Pavitra, this role is very challenging one and is a reason why she agreed to take it up. Pavitra is essaying the ‘lust’ part of the title, her character will be more like Chandramukhi of Devdas – who will be the lust queen of a region. The story is of a man whose relations both professional and personal go sour. He takes to drugs and alcohol and comes to Varanasi meets Pavitra and falls in love with her, soon realizing that she is a prostitute.

Pavitra is on cloud nine now and quotes, “I feel extremely blessed and fortunate to have got an opportunity to start my career in Bollywood at a time where newcomers are welcomed with open arms. I’m looking forward to my journey and working with the directors that I have always wished for in Bollywood!”

We now hear that Vidya, who will be soon visiting Baroda, Gujarat for promotions has decided to also visit the tea stall which sold free tea during elections in support of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Narendra Modi started his journey from a  tea stall years ago and has now reached greatest of heights.

So during marketing meetings, Vidya shared how she is keen to visit this particular tea stall which had become chatter throughout the election campaign.

Sohum Shah to work with Vishal Bhardwaj and Irrfan Khan in his next

Sohum Shah was hailed as ‘the most brilliant discovery of the year’ for his breakout performance in Ship of Theseus last year, which also won the top prize recently at the National Awards.

Now the news is that Sohum Shah will be seen in a film written and produced by Vishal Bharadwaj. The untitled film will be directed by Meghna Gulzar.

Sohum Shah plays an extremely pivotal role in the film, that of an investigating officer along with Irrfan Khan. “It is a matter of much honor and excitement to share space with Irrfan Khan.I see it as an opportunity to observe and learn from someone who I believe is one of the finest actors working in the world today.”Sohum gushes.

Being a complete outsider from the industry and with no film background, it was Sohum Shah’s dream to work with both, Vishal Bhardwaj and Irrfan Khan. Sohum continues, “As an actor I would like the kind of work that would give me sleepless nights and demand complete submission to my craft. I deeply admire how Vishal Bhardwaj does exactly that to his actors with his wonderfully humane films. वीरदास जी आगामी फिल्म 'अमित सहानी की लिस्ट' में बंजी जंम्पिंग पर का एक सीन है जो की वीरदास ने खुद ही किया है, इस सीन को फिल्माने से पहले तीन से चार दिनों की कड़ी ट्रैनिंग के लिए अब्रॉड से प्रशिक्षक को बुलाया गया था, यह प्रशिक्षण पुरे होने के तीन चार दिनों के बाद पूरी कुशलता से यह सीन फिल्माया गया। 

वीरदास को पहले से ही एडवेंचर स्पोर्ट्स पसंद है , और बंजी जंम्पिंग कर वीरदास ने बहुत ही बढ़िया समय व्यथित किया और साथ ही अपने कास्ट और क्रू को भी बंजी जम्पिंग के लिए प्रोहत्साहित करते रहे।

In one of the scenes in the film, Vir Das is shown to be bungee-jumping. For the scene, the makers of the film got a bungee-jumping instructor from abroad for Vir Das and the actor underwent training for around 3-4 days before the sequence was shot.

Vir Das, who is fond of adventure sports, had a great time bungee-jumping and also encouraged some other cast members to try their hand at the sport.

Coming from a humble background, Ranveer often finds himself caught between loyalty and love, where unfortunately for him, loyalty takes the front seat. However Ranveer is not obsessive nor depressed, he conditions his love to a friendship that could carry on forever, with no hope of ever being loved back. Ishaani is a simple girl who believes in love and commitment but is unaware of his affection and hence does not reciprocate Ranveer’s feelings towards her. cap sign but the makers have changed the cap from "Aam Aadmi" to
"Khaas Aadmi" to avoid any legal hassles.

"Main Hoon Rajinikanth is a decent spoof filled with entertainment and
we do not hurt any sentiments or any feelings of any community or
whomsoever. Our intention is only to make people laugh and we are
trying our best to do that. We are Film makers, We are not the Law who
states who is good or bad. The character which Sunil Pal plays does
have few inspirations but it does not hurt any party or any workers.
In Main Hoon Rajinikanth, Sunil Pal will do what he is best in doing

उसवक्त अरशद वारसी पर एक हरयाणवी रॅप सॉन्ग फिल्माया जा रहा था , तभी इन दो लड़कियों के साथ ही वहा के बहुत सारे निवासीयो की भीड़ जमा हो गयी वे सभी यह मनोरंजक एक्शन देखना चाहते थे और अरशद के साथ फोटो खिचवाना चाहते थे।

संगीता अहीर कहती है"  मेरी दोनों बेटियाँ काफी उत्साहित होई और पूरी शूटिंग की प्रोसेस देखने के लिए वह कही घंटो तक मॉनिटर से ही जुड़ गयी थी वे दोनों वहा से जरा भी हिली नहीं।

      सेट पर एनर्जी लेवल काफी बढ़िया रहा यह देख कर यह कहा जा सकता है की एक बड़ी एनटरटेनिंग फिल्म के रूप में गुड्डू रंगीला दर्शको को लुभाने में कामयाब होगी।

Sources have it that Sangeeta Ahir, producer of Guddu Rangeela directed by Subhash Kapoor starring Arshad Warsi, Amit Sadh and Aditi Rao Hyadri, visited the sets of the film , which was being shot at Wai with her daughters Kiran and Aishwarya and the two teenagers were so strikingly entertained with the scenes being shot that they were glued to the monitor on the sets till the wee hours of the morning.

At the time, a Haryanvi rap featuring Arshad Warsi was being shot and apart from the two girls, a large number of locals who had gathered there to catch a glimpse of the action were highly entertained.

Sangeeta Ahir said, "My two daughters were so enthralled with the shooting process that they stayed glued to the monitors for hours without moving!"

The energy level on the sets was so enthralling that all we can say is that a solid entertainer is on its way.

Vidya Balan starrer Bobby Jasoos is set in Hyderabad and the entire film is shot there.

Bobby Jasoos is a film about Bobby, who wants to become the no.1 detective of her moohala. The film explores her journey exploring different aspects of Hyderabad. 

Hyderabad plays an important role in the story just the way Kolkata was a major part of the film Kahaani. 

Vidya had shot for her film Kahaani in Kolkata during the festival of Durga Puja, in the same way she shot during Ramzaan in Hyderabad for Bobby Jasoos.  

The flavor of the city of  has been brought out in the film and one can get a feel and vibe of the city by watching the film.

For an actor it becomes enhances their performance as the character becomes more steeped in reality.

Vidya is infact also taking a keen interest in the marketing of the film and she wishes to market the film around the city of Hyderabad, establishing the part it plays in this film.

Directed by Samar Shaikh, the film is slated to release on July 4th, 2014.

 Not many know that director Kunal Deshmukh also owns in partnership a resto-bar named Trikaya in Pune and it has been learned that the restaurant has bagged the ‘A' Design Award- Silver in the Best Interiors Category and may travel to Milan in August for the award ceremony.
