NDTV and Grundfos Pumps India Pvt Ltd (Grundfos India) turned the spotlight on the looming energy crisis this World Environment Day with the Mission Energy Sessions – a platform for prominent energy experts, policy makers and industry leaders to highlight issues; recommend solutions for industry and the new government; and focus on energy efficient ideas for the future. Actor Abhay Deol felicitated winners of the NDTV Grundfos Mission Energy Challenge, which saw 100 contenders competing to achieve highest energy and monetary savings. This was India’s first televised eco-challenge, conducted in association with CII, and winners included Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Vadodara; Indian School of Business, Mohali; Kesoram Industries Ltd [Cement Division], Sedam and homeowner Ameetsinh Vaghela.

Held at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, many prominent personalities including actor Abhay Deol, who is building an eco-home in Goa; Dr Ajay Mathur, Director General-  Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Government of India; Saurabh Kumar, Managing Director - Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL); Naina Lal Kidwai, Executive Director & Country Head – HSBC and Former President – FICCI; Ranganath N K, Managing Director -  Grundfos Pumps India; Jørgen Bjelskou, Group Public Affairs Director – Grundfos; Dr Sunita Narain, Director General - Centre for Science and Environment (CSE); Mili Majumdar, Director, Sustainable Habitat Division – TERI; Beroz Gazdar, Head Sustainability - Mahindra and Mahindra; Krishan Dhawan, Chief Executive Officer - Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation; Dr Prem Jain, Chairman - IGBC - CII; Samit Aich, Executive Director – Greenpeace, amongst others participated in the informative sessions.

Supporting the cause, Abhay Deol, said, “It is a great initiative by NDTV and what I liked most about it was it showcased great innovations, which gives so much encouragement to these people. I already have a shopping list for my home after coming here. It’s inspired me and if I am investing in it myself then it will encourage those who are making these.”

The event marked the culmination of the NDTV-Grundfos Mission Energy Campaign, which was launched earlier this year to create awareness about the importance of energy efficiency and encourage individual efforts towards conservation. The Grundfos Mission Energy Sessions were conducted with the aim to not only discuss issues but also suggest plausible solutions. While the first session focussed on highlighting gruelling current issues, suggestions from the panellists on policy changes etc, the second session drew attention to innovations in energy efficiency that can play a vital role in solving some of India’s energy problems. This session showcased some unique and viable innovations to facilitate energy efficiency in your homes and organisations. The last session concluded with shortlisted participants from the Mission Energy Challenge (conducted by NDTV in association with CII) discussing "It’s All About ME – The Power of An Individual” and presentation of awards to winners and Runners Up.

Hate Story 2 under the banner of Bhushan Kumar's T-series, launched it's trailer yesterday at Mumbai. The event was attended by the star-cast of the film Jay Bhanushali, Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Siddharth Kher and debutant Director Vishal Pandya  

When asked about Jay and Surveen's chemistry in Dayavaan song 'Aaj fir tumpe pyaar aaya he' which is recreated in Hate story 2, Surveen says "Firstly it's a very beautiful song and both has different level. Mr. Vinod Khanna and Madhuri Dixit had great chemistry and we cannot compare to it. But the song is so beautiful that chemistry is created on its own." Further Jay adds, "I did this Film as i was getting to do this song."

Also when asked Surveen about doing such bold scene in her debut film, she says, "I am comfortable in my skin and have no problem to show it, the bold scenes and the sensuous part was need of the Script."

Hate Story 2, starring Surveen Chawla, Jay Bhanushali, Sushant Singh and Siddharth Kher, is written by Mahesh Bhatt. and the music is by Mithoon, Rashid Khan, Arok and Vijay Tiwari. Hate Story 2 is a thriller franchise and showcases women "as no longer weaker sex".

भूषण कुमार के टी सीरीज़ बैनर तले बनीं फिल्म ‘हेट स्टोरी 2’ का पिछले दिनों ट्रेलर लॉंच किया गया. इस समारोह में अपनी उपस्थिती जिन कलाकारों ने दर्ज़ कराई उनमें सबसे पहला नाम है फिल्म के हीरो जय भानुशाली तथा हीरोइन सुरवीन चावला का. इनके अलावा इस समारोह में भाग लेनेवालों में सुशांत सिंह, सिद्धार्थ खेर तथा ‘हेट स्टोरी 2‘ से निर्देशन में कदम रखने जा रहे नवोदित निर्देशक विशाल पंड्या. गौरतलब है कि इस फिल्म में मेकर्स ने फिल्म ‘दयावान’ के गीत ‘आज फिर तुमपे प्यार आया है’ को एक अलग अंदाज़ में लिया है. जब इस गीत के संदर्भ में जय और सुरवीन की केमिस्ट्री के बारे में खुद इन कलाकारों से पूछा गया तो सबसे पहले सुरवीन ने कहा, ‘’इसमें दो राय नहीं कि ‘दयावान’ का यह गीत बेमिसाल है. रही बात इस गीत में हमारी केमिस्ट्री की तो यक़ीन कीजिए गीत के असली कलाकार विनोद खन्ना और माधुरी दीक्षित की केमिस्ट्री को बीट कर पाना हमारे बूते से बाहर की बात थी. फिलहाल यह गीत इतना अच्छा है कि हमें बहुत ज़्यादा कोशिश नहीं करनी पडी. फिर भी इस गीत में हमारी केमिस्ट्री कैसी है इसका फैसला खुद दर्शक करें तो बेहतर होगा.’’ सुरवीन के अलावा जय से जब इस सिलसिले में पूछा गया तो उनका कहना था, ‘’मैंने यह फिल्म ही इसलिए की है क्योंकि मुझे यह गीत करने का मौका मिल रहा था.’’ पिछली फिल्म के मुकाबले ‘हेट स्टोरी 2’ में बोल्ड सींस की भरमार है. ऐसे में पहली ही फिल्म से टीवी एक्ट्रेस से फिल्म एक्ट्रेस बनीं सुरवीन को ऐसे दृश्यों से क्या कोई परहेज़ नहीं ? ‘’मुझे अंग प्रदर्शन से कोई परहेज़ नहीं बल्कि इस मामले में मैं काफी कंफर्टेबल महसूस करती हूं. रही बात फिल्म में बोल्ड सींस की तो बोल्ड सीन और सेंशुअस पार्ट कहानी का हिस्सा थे सो उनसे परहेज़ कैसा.’’

Hate Story 2, directed by Vishal Pandya is a franchise of the Hate Story. It marks the debut of TV actors Jay Bhanushali and Surveen Chawla along with the antagonist Sushant Singh. Produced by T-series the movie is a revenge thriller with Surveen Chawla playing the protagonist in a complete new bold, sexy avatar and is willing to cross any boundaries to take revenge for her lover’s (Jay) death. The bold film is noted for its frank portrayal of sex and explicit language. Hate story 2 goes further into the murky world of Mumbai’s dirty politics. Yes! you read it right Salman and Armaan have been in touch since a very long time!! Not many are aware that Salman Khan s mother and Armaan's grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor are fast friends and also play cards together!

Thus their children Salma Khan's son Salman and Krishna Raj's daughter Rima Jain have  been friends for a long time. 

While Armaan is the second youngest grandson who will be making his bollywood debut with Arif Ali's Lekar Hum Deewana Dil, it was Salman who first saw Armaan at Riddhima's (Ranbir Kapoor's sister) sangeet and said that he too would be a star. Remembering the incident, Armaan said, “I was practicing along with my brother Aadar and my friends for Riddhima Di's sangeet, where Salman bhai was also there chilling out with us.I was really fat and must  have been close to 100 kilos then. He was first watching us and then even joined us, teaching us his steps for the song O O Jaane Jaana, on which we had been practicing. After practicing at Rishi uncle's house, we all moved to Salman's house where we continued our party . At that time, Ranbir was debuting in films and the media asked Salman about t and he said, `Mashallah!

Currently promoting the anticipated sequel How To Train Your Dragon 2 in which Oscar winning actress Cate Blanchett voices the long lost mother of heroic boy Hiccup, Blanchett is not one to shy away from calling out double standards she sees in public!!

She spoke about how Hollywood represents mothers while promoting the Dragon sequel.

"When anyone plays a mother on film, there is a whole raft of judgment in that a mother is a particular archetype or that every mother is the same," she said. "That's complete rubbish. We did discuss a lot about that particular issue because of course there is a judgment on how women parent."

Criticizing the stereotypes used to judge mothers; Blanchett called them "complete rubbish" and said there was too much pressure being placed on women.

"It's certainly a question that's never asked of men. The question is only ever directed towards women" she said during How To Train Your Dragon 2 Promotions."How do you balance? How do you have it all?" she said.

Directed by Doug Liman Edge of Tomorrow   is a sci-fi film based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka's novel, the world is under attack of Aliens, entire Western Europe is invaded by "Mimics" as the Aliens are called millions of people are perished .

Next is London as US Army Major William Cage (Tom Cruise) is called in, but as cage meets General Brigham [Brendan Gleeson] he admits that he has no expertise of a warrior but is from an advertising field, as he denies going to the people and motivate them to join the J-squad, a petrified General Brigham orders his arrest and sends him to a private jail near Heathrow Airport.

He is forcibly put on a mission at the beach front Battlefields, However Cage reluctantly fights and kills a monstrous mimic Alpha and he dies in the combat. 

Every time he dies and wakes up to a new start and reconstructs his action and saves the troop members. Subsequently with every loop he reaches to Special Forces soldier Rita Vrataski [Emily Blunt] and saves her at the battlefield.

Vrataski realizes that he knows future attacks of mimic’s, so they plan an attack on the omega which controls the mimic’s power. As they reach Louvre where the omega has its base, Cage detonates his grenades and attacks the Omega where it’s been hidden, thus shattering it in pieces. Finally Omega is killed, but Cage also dies. Will he wake up this time? 

Tom Cruise has given a very accomplished performance in Edge of Tomorrow  also the futuristic production design is spectacular and the approach of alien and human fight has changed to a uniqueness and intelligent. The script is mas>ter>ful and requires a proper attention when you watch the movie, it’s not just another sci - fi entertainer, so be hooked.
