The spirit was competitive but the mood was cheerful on the inaugural match of Box Cricket League. The smiley balls added to the ease of players as they knew all eyes were on them at the onset of the series. Not to forget, the player’s safety is also a concern as they all resume shooting today. Many popular faces and players from the other teams were present to cheer the playing teams. Team Titli lead by Noori Shah(ABCD Fame) wooed one and all as the evening kick-started with her Baby Doll Act. Considering the celebrity status, a fully Air Conditioned Indoor stadium is chosen for the series.

The team of O Teri is planning to host a special screening for the Fukrey team.

There are a lot of similarities between the two projects like both films are set in Delhi and both the films are about wannabe guys who want to do something big in life.

O Teri is a film about two boys who are young interns in a news channel and looking for a big story to get recognized at work.

Also Pulkit is playing one of the lead roles in both the films. While shooting Fukrey, Pulkit shared a very strong bond with the entire team of Fukrey and he is now keen to have a special screening of his upcoming film, O Teri for his Fukras.

Most pollsters have predicted that the Narendra Modi led BJP has an edge over their rivals in the Lok Sabha Elections, 2014. Shahrukh, the star of Bakrapur, has observed something similar. The party selection count, on the Kaun Banega PM? Android mobile game has revealed that Modi is far ahead of AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal, with over 71% more votes that the latter, and INC’s Rahul Gandhi as the second runner up, for now. The total number of votes, however, seem to be monumentally more for Rahul Gandhi, which can be credited to the strong players choosing him.

Overall, 405 people have chosen to play for Narendra Modi, while 236 have opted for AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal. Rahul Gandhi stands third, with only 129 players lending him their support. Mamta Banerjee, Jayalalitha, Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav were among the other leaders to be featured in the game’s leader options.

The new android mobile game launched by the Delhi based company Idea Farms, in association with the makers of the Shahrukh starrer Yeh Hai Bakrapur, doubles up as a mock opinion poll that attempts to gauge the political mood of the nation. Shahrukh, the rock star goat protagonist of the film, plays the role of a referee in the game. The rules of the game require players to select the party of their choice and thereafter, collect symbols, fruits and icons of the party’s candidates in order to accumulate votes for their chosen party.  They are also required to guard against rotten eggs and also the symbols of the opposition parties.

The numbers state-wise are even more interesting. In West Bengal, TMC’s Mamta Banerjee has swept maximum votes, with majority of players opting for the party. Jayalalitha is ruling in Tamil Nadu, with Narendra Modi and Karunanidhi standing 2^nd and 3^rd. In Maharashtra, too, BJP’s Modi reign continues, with the political figure crushing AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal and every other candidate.

It is going to be interesting to observe how far the game results mirror those of Elections, 2014 and if the PM choice that Shahrukh throws up will be the choice of the nation.

Artist Kumar Vaidya's much anticipated art exhibition preview took place in Mumbai's much acclaimed Art Gate Gallery, known to host some top of the shelf exhibitions, on 21st March, 2014. Creating waves among the art enthusiasts and celebrities, Kumar Vaidya affirmed his presence in the art scene with this exclusive peek-a-boo into his collection. This exhibition displayed avant-gardiste's true talents and artistic flair giving the audience much to talk about.

As you enter the gallery, you are instantly drawn towards his work, which are splashes of colors as bright and dark as his life. His artwork was such that it challenged your mind to think outside the box and see beyond the obvious, to not restrain your emotions, taking your thoughts on a path that has been unexplored, where meanings and preconceived notions no longer exist, a new territory of unimaginable depths and heights, letting the mind take its own journey.

A much anticipated Horror Film across the globe starring Katee Sackhoff & Karen Gillian; Oculus is set for an Indian Release on the 11^th of April and is distributed by PVR Pictures

From the makers of Paranormal Activity & Insidious comes ‘Oculus’ - an upcoming American Horror Film starring Karen Gillian (Guardians of The Galaxy & Dr. Who) and Katee Sackhoff (Riddick & Battle Star Gallectica) in crucial roles, that explores the story of a haunted mirror possessed with a supernatural phenomenon, having killed over 45 People in its 4 generations of existence.

The underlying theme of a brother – sister relationship the film unfolds with Marie Russell (Katie Gillian) trying to exonerate her brother, who was convicted of murder, by proving that the crime was committed by a supernatural phenomenon. Directed & Written by Mike Flanagan (Absentia) the film is based on a short-film also directed by Mike called Oculus: Chapter 3 - The Man with the Plan (2006).

In this film the actress will be seen alongside the south legend, Rajnikant for the very first time.

There are a lot of reasons why an actor agrees to do a particular project. For this one Deepika agreed to be part of the film for emotional reasons.

When Rajnikant's daughter Saundarya approached Deepika for the project, the actress agreed to be associated with it without even hearing the concept, script or her role.

Deepika felt it was a huge honour for her to share screen space with a legend like Rajnikant.

She felt it was a great opportunity for her to interact with the star and discuss cinema with him.

Also the Kochidaiyaan team felt that among the younger actresses, the beauty and performance level required for the film would be justified just by Deepika Padukone.

Prior to this, only Ashwariya Rai from Bollywood has worked with Rajnikant. Ash worked with him much later in her career when she was at the peak. Similarly this time around it is Deepika, who is racing to the top, will be seen working with the legend.

Varun Dhawan’s ‘Palat’ has already got the masses crooning to the song but apparently it’s not just the music that’s catching up with the youngsters. The song required him to involve a lot of heavy duty steps on the ground with body weight balanced on the hands solely and to avoid any injuries to his wrist and hand, he suggested wearing biker’s gloves.

But what was planned as a precautionary measure has now turned into a style statement. Unlike wrist bands, biker gloves haven’t been around except in action sequences.

We hear Varun was very excited about this song and being the starting of the shoot schedule, he didn’t think taking a risk without safety measures would have been wise lest any injury should delay the shoots.

“We really liked the suggestion and his presence of mind. He knew how to incorporate safety with style.  It kind of completed his look and added that edge we wanted for his character.” Says a source close to the production team.

Amole Gupte’s Hawaa Hawaai is the first ever film based on inland skating. The filmmaker scripted his son’s dream into 22 drafts, which finally got carved into Hawaa Hawaai. Partho Gupte was always passionate about learning skating, from the age of 4 he started skating and he always forced his parents to accompany him to strap him up. That initially intrigued Amole to take initiative into the sports and he decided to pen it down in 2008.

Hawaa Hawaai stars Saqib Saleem who will be mentoring Partho as coach. Partho will get his share of dreams to live through the film. About skating, Amole says "Skating is an expensive sport as a pair of inland skates could cost more than a bike. But I saw the grit of the sport and wanted to make a film on it as it will be a first on celluloid internationally and skating is Formula One. Either you are on four wheels in a Ferrari or you are the Ferrari."

Hawaa Hawaai is set to release on May 9^th, 2014
