MSM Motion Pictures in association with Contiloe Entertainment launches the trailer of Darr@The Mall

Mumbai, January 7th, 2014: In today’s age, malls are considered the one-stop shop for everything from food to shopping to watching movies to just spending a happy time with friends and loved people. However, in the coming future, going to a mall might also be defined as a terrifying experience, especially after MSM Motion Picture & Contiloe entertainment’s next directed by Pavan Kripalani’sDarr@The Mall’ releases on February 21st,2014. Pavan is the man who sent chills up everyone’s spines with his directorial debut ‘Ragini MMS’ and now, the talented filmmaker is back with another horror flick, that will surely make you think twice about visiting a mall again.

Jimmy Sheirgill, who plays a mall security head in the film, said, “This was one of the toughest films to shoot for me as the film was mostly shot at nights and it took a major toll on our health. Not only this, the location of the shot was actually eerie, which added to the bunch of challenges that we had to face while shooting for Darr@The Mall. However, I believe that all the hard work that has been put in has been honestly reflected in the film and we all are quite eager to know the public reaction to this film, which can be easily described as one of the best horror films made in Bollywood.

NP Singh, CEO, Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd, which is producing the film said, “With Darr@The Mall we continue with our endeavour to make content driven films.Darr@The Mall is a horror flick which apart from good content is also backed by popular talent like Jimmy Sheirgill&PavanKripalani. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have given the music while Ganesh Hedge has choreographed the dance number&RanjitBarot has given the background score for the film. We have produced a horror film that is on par with any mainstream Bollywood film.”

On his part, Director PavanKripalani says, “Ever since I was a kid, I have been a fan of the horror genre and as a director; it has always been my ambition to make classy horror films. After Ragini MMS, I felt that there is more to explore as far as horror films are concerned and ‘Darr@ The Mall’ is my honest attempt to make a horror flick in the vein of classic Hollywood scare fares like ‘The Exorcist’ and ‘The Shining’, which I have grown up watching.
Produced by MSM Motion Pictures and Contiloe Entertainment, ‘Darr @ The Mall’ is a first of its kind horror story set in a mall.
Apart from Jimmy Shergill, the film comprises an ensemble cast of seasoned character actors like ArifZakaria, AsifBarsa and Neeraj Soodalongwith young actors like NushratBharucha, Nivedita Bhattacharya and ShraddhaKaul, to name a few.

Fear Opens on 21st February. ‘Darr @ The Mall’ will surely change your mall-going experience in a radical way!

It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield).  For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone).  But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city.  With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.

GRUDGE MATCH releasing on 10 january.

GRUDGE MATCH

Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Grudge Match” stars award-winning movie legends Oscar® nominee Sylvester Stallone (the “Rocky” films, “The Expendables”) and Oscar® winner Robert De Niro (“Raging Bull,” “Silver Linings Playbook”) as old boxing rivals who come out of retirement for one final match.  Peter Segal (“Get Smart”) directs the comedy.
In “Grudge Match,” Stallone and De Niro play Henry “Razor” Sharp and Billy “The Kid” McDonnen, two local Pittsburgh fighters whose fierce rivalry put them in the national spotlight.  Each had scored a victory against the other during their heyday, but in 1983, on the eve of their decisive third match, Razor suddenly announced his retirement, refusing to explain why but effectively delivering a knock-out punch to both their careers.  Thirty years later, boxing promoter Dante Slate Jr., seeing big dollar signs, makes them an offer they can’t refuse: to re-enter the ring and settle the score once and for all.
But they may not have to wait that long: on their first encounter in decades, their long-festering feud erupts into an unintentionally hilarious melee that instantly goes viral.  The sudden social media frenzy transforms their local grudge match into a must-see HBO event.  Now, if they can just survive the training, they may actually live to fight again.
The film also stars Kevin Hart (“Think Like a Man”) as Dante Slate Jr.; Oscar® winner Alan Arkin as Razor’s former trainer, Louis “Lightning” Conlon, who gets to put Razor through his paces again; and Oscar® winner Kim Basinger (“L.A. Confidential”) as Sally Rose, who was once the love of Razor’s life.
Rounding out the cast are Jon Bernthal (upcoming “The Wolf of Wall Street,” TV’s “The Walking Dead”) as BJ, who becomes The Kid’s instinctive but untested trainer; and young film newcomer Camden Gray (“Californication”).
Segal is directing from a screenplay by Rodney Rothman, story by Tim Kelleher.  The film is being produced by Bill Gerber (“Gran Torino”), Mark Steven Johnson (“Grumpy Old Men,” “Grumpier Old Men”), Michael Ewing (“Get Smart”) and Ravi Mehta (“The Lucky One”).  Peter Segal, Jane Rosenthal and Kevin King-Templeton are serving as executive producers.
Collaborating with Segal behind the scenes are: Academy Award®-winning cinematographer Dean Semler (“Dances With Wolves,” “Apocalypto”); production designer Wynn Thomas (“Cinderella Man”); costume designer Mary Vogt (“Men in Black 3”); and editor William Kerr (“Bridesmaids”).  Robert Sale, who was the technical advisor on “Rocky Balboa,” is serving as the film’s boxing consultant.  The music is by Trevor Rabin.
Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Gerber Pictures Production, a Callahan Filmworks Production, a Peter Segal film, “Grudge Match.”  The film opens beginning December 25, 2013 and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Warner Bros. Pictures wins the 2013 box office triple crown GLOBALLY and is no.1 in india

The Studio takes the top spot in Domestic (US) market share with $1.895 billion;
International market share with $3.140 billion;
and Worldwide market share with $5.035 billion.

BURBANK, CA, January 3, 2014 – In a record-breaking year, Warner Bros. Pictures emerged as the top-grossing studio for 2013, ranking number one in domestic, international and worldwide market shares.  The announcement was made today by Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution; Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of International Distribution; and Sue Kroll, President of Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.
            The Studio took in an estimated combined global box office gross of $5.035 billion, setting a new Warner Bros. benchmark and becoming only the second studio ever to cross the $5 billion threshold.  It also marked the fifth consecutive year Warner Bros. has surpassed $4 billion worldwide, which is an industry record.  Globally, the Studio has now ranked #1 or #2 in nine of the past ten years, also an industry record.
In India as well, having raked in INR 155 crores, Warner Bros. Pictures is the No. 1 Hollywood studio for 2013. The studio boasts of several box office hits such as ‘The Conjuring’ with INR 24 Crores, ‘Man of Steel’ with INR 37 crores and ‘Gravity’ with INR 42 crores! In fact, both ‘Gravity’ and ‘The Conjuring’ have witnessed ‘100 days’ and ‘50 days’ respectively at Indian cinemas, a rare feat for English films in India.
Warner Bros. has crossed the $1 billion mark, both domestically and internationally, 13 years in a row, another industry record.  The Studio took in an estimated $1.895 billion at the domestic box office, with eight films crossing $100 million, including three that went on to gross more than $200 million.  At the international box office, Warner Bros. set a new Studio record of $3.14 billion, marking the fourth consecutive year—and the sixth year overall—that it has earned more than $2 billion.  Ten Warner Bros. releases earned more than $100 million internationally, of which seven grossed more than $200 million—both unprecedented achievements for the Studio.  In addition, two of those films took in more than $300 million, and two more crossed the $400 million mark.
Fellman stated, “We are extremely proud of all the remarkable benchmarks reached in 2013.  These terrific numbers speak to the diversity of our slate, which has enabled us to deliver great entertainment to a broad range of audiences throughout the year.”
“This incredible achievement is a testament to not only the consistent quality of filmmaking at our studio, but also the creativity and hard work of our teams here and around the world,” Kwan Vandenberg said.  “They continue to reach for greater possibilities in a growing and changing international marketplace.”
            Kroll added, “We share these remarkable results with our partners at New Line, Village Roadshow, Legendary and MGM.  We also thank and congratulate the extraordinary talents behind our films, whose commitment has been an important part of our efforts on each release.”
Two current hits, still in theatres, are among the Studio’s highest-grossing films for the year: “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,” in partnership with New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM), at $659 million worldwide and counting; and “Gravity,” at $663 million to date.  The Summer blockbuster “Man of Steel,” from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, was the Studio’s top-grossing release for the year, at $668 million globally.  Among the other worldwide box office highlights for 2013 are: “Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures Pacific Rim,” with $411 million; “The Hangover Part III,” also in partnership with Legendary, at $362 million; “The Great Gatsby,” in partnership with Village Roadshow Pictures, at $351 million; New Line Cinema’s “The Conjuring,” with $318 million; and “We’re the Millers,” also from New Line, at $270 million.
