Biography
Biography
Chloe Grace Moretz began a career in
entertainment at the tender age of five. She began in New York City as a
national model in many print outlets and television commercials. At age six she
moved with her family to Los Angeles where her career took a theatrical
turn.
Quickly after moving to California, Chloe
booked a recurring role on the CBS show “The Guardian” with Simon Baker.
She had the fortune of being directed by Emilio Estevez for her very first
theatrical outing. Her first feature film came soon thereafter in an
independent film “Heart of the Beholder”. She immediately booked a lead
role in Michael Bay's remake of “The Amityville Horror” for MGM opposite
Ryan Reynolds and received critical acclaim for that role in which she was
called upon to display a wide array of emotions.
Moretz will next be seen in the much
anticipated sequel, “Kick Ass 2” coming this August, 2013. She will also star
in the remake of “Carrie” set to release on October 18th, 2013. Moretz will
star in the leading role as Carrie White alongside Julianne Moore in this Drama
about a sheltered high school girl unleashing her newly developed telekinetic
powers after she is pushed too far by her peers.
She can currently be seen starring in the
ensemble comedy “Movie 43” with Emma Stone, Hugh Jackman, and many more. Moretz
stars in Tim Burton’s “Dark Shadows” alongside Johnny Depp and in “Hick”,
alongside Blake Lively. She also stars in Martin Scorsese’s film, “Hugo” where
alongside Sir Ben Kingsley in this tale about a 12-year-old orphan who lives in
the walls of a Paris train station in 1930.
Past movie credits include action-packed film
adaptation of Mark Millar’s comic book “Kick-Ass”. Chloe plays the part of Hit-Girl, a ferocious potty-mouthed 11-year-old who fights crime by
teaming up with her father, Big-Daddy,
played by Nicolas Cage. She has also starred in movies such as “Texas Killing
Field”, “Let Me In”, “Diary of A Wimpy Kid”, “Emily the Strange”, “500 Days of
Summer”, “Not Forgotten”, “The Eye”, “The Third Nail”, “Wicked Little Things”,
“Room 6”, “Big Momma’s House 2”, and “The Children”.
On the small screen Chloe played a guest role
on NBC’s “30 Rock” with Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey and she can be seen
throughout the 2nd season of the hit ABC series “Dirty Sexy Money”
as Kiki George, where she shared screen with Peter Krause and Donald
Sutherland. She has also guest starred on the comedy show “My Name is Earl” and
ABC’s “Desperate Housewives.”
In addition to feature films and television,
Chloe has also been using her acting abilities to bring life to animation
through her voice. She was cast as the lead “Darby” in the new series “My
friends Tigger and Pooh” for Disney Animation and lent her voice for the
animated show “The Emperors New School”.
She currently resides in Los Angeles.
JULIANNE MOORE
Biography
Julianne
Moore most recently starred in the HBO original movie GAME CHANGE. Her
performance as Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was met with critical acclaim and
garnered Golden Globe, SAG, and Emmy Award wins.
Next,
Moore stars in Scott McGehee and David Siegel’s WHAT MAISIE KNEW, a loose
adaptation of the Henry James novel of the same name, set to release nationwide
on May 31st. She will also be seen alongside Lily Collins and
Greg Kinnear in THE ENGLISH TEACHER, which will premiere at the 2013 Tribeca
Film Festival. This summer she stars alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and
Scarlett Johansen in Gordon-Levitt’s directorial debut DON JON, which premiered
at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. In the fall, Moore stars in Kimberly
Pierce’s eagerly awaited remake of the cult classic horror film CARRIE, and
opposite Jeff Bridges in the sweeping fantasy adventure, THE SEVENTH SON for
Warner Brothers. Both films are set to release on October 18th.
In 2014, Moore will star alongside Liam Neeson in the action-thriller
NON-STOP for Universal.
Known
for the breadth of her work, Moore's many memorable films include everything from
comedy and drama, to blockbusters and art house fare. She recently
starred in the hit multi-generational romantic comedy, CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE with
Steve Carrell, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, and received Golden Globe and BAFTA

earning her B.F.A. from Boston University for the Performing Arts, Moore
starred in a number of off-Broadway productions, including Caryl Churchill’s Serious
Money and Ice Cream/Hot Fudge at the Public Theater. She
appeared in Minneapolis in the Guthrie Theater’s Hamlet, and
participated in workshop productions of Strindberg’s The Father with Al
Pacino and Wendy Wasserstein’s An American Daughter with Meryl Streep.
Moore made her Broadway debut in 2006 in the Sam Mendes production of The
Vertical Hour, an original play written by David Hare.
Moore
has also authored a successful children’s book series – Freckleface
Strawberry, Freckleface Strawberry and the Dodgeball Bully, and Freckleface
Strawberry Best Friends Forever. In 2013 Moore released her Monster
Maker app via iTunes. Inspired by the book’s main character, Freckleface
Strawberry, the app allows users to make their own monster to send to family
and friends. Additionally, the original book was adapted into a successful
off-Broadway musical.
