Mumbai, July 2019: The Traffic Police force is the backbone of every city as they create safe driving environments,that focus on maintaining traffic safety and efficiency on the roads. The tough job that these sworn-in officers perform, ranges from directing traffic, and educating people on safety guidelines on the roads. Acknowledging the hard work of these on-road heroes, who diligently perform their duties through the vagaries of different seasons including the monsoons of Mumbai which is currently underway; K Raheja Corp’s brands, Mindspace and Inorbit Malls came forward to present raincoats to the team of officials at their Headquarters in Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai.
The event was graced by Mr. Sunil Lokhande, Dy Commissioner of Traffic Police and Mr. Kishore Bhatija, MD, Real Estate Development. The event was graced by the presence of Assistant Commissioners, Senior Police Inspectors and staff of around 70 policemen.
Speaking about this initiative, Mr. Kishore Bhatija, MD Real Estate Development| K Raheja Corp said, “The efforts put by our traffic police is commendable and we are indeed thankful for their selfless efforts to maintain road safety. Our small gesture is a salute to the spirit of the protectors of Mumbai.”
Commenting on the kind gesture, Mr. Sunil Lokhande, Dy Commissioner of Traffic Police said, “We appreciate the efforts of corporates coming forward to assist our men in uniform. We are committed to performing our duties whether rain or sunshine no matter what the weather conditions, but these initiatives ease the process.”
