Mumbai, 2nd May, 2016: Close to 95 years after his tragic death, the biopic on Srinivasa Ramanujan; “THE MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY” has found a huge connect with audiences across India.
The film debuted with close to 125 screens in English and Tamil, and is playing across all major towns in India.Backed by almost universal critical acclaim, and rated “must watch” the movie has been performing extremely well. The box-office collections of the film grew day-on-day with Saturday being twice of Friday and Sunday being full houses across the country.
Most shows have found the audiences spontaneously clapping and cheering India’s greatest Mathematical Mind.

In many cinemas across the country there have requests to increase shows and open in newer markets. The gross box office collections of the film for the weekend have been over 2.1 crore and the movie is well on its way to being among the highest grossing films of this genre.
