Says director Pan Nalin "Katrina is a hugely successful star in India and when we wrote the movie one particular character seemed to be perfect inspiration from her life. Even though we haven't shown the whole journey of Katrina we surely were inspired to have Amrit play the role of a London migrated girl to India.
