It’s easy to relate Jazz and the cinema in 50’s and 60’s, filmmakers usually opted for something sensual and attention grabbing. Jazz tends to have such traits where one can be pleased with just the tunes of it.

Jonny Balraj aka Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as a Boxer and Rosie Noronha aka Anushka Sharma is an aspiring Jazz singer and Karan Johar will be the bad man.
