Fashionista Sneh Vadhani choreographs Mughda Godse at India’s 1st condom inspired fashion show

Multi-faceted multi-talented artiste par excellence Sneh Vadhani turned choreographer for India’s first condom inspired fashion show “SKORE Fashionista” with celebrity showstopper actress Mughda Godse. The promoter of Svaie Dance Company also choreographed popular models like Namrata Shetty, Jaspal Kaur, and Nupur Bhaskar, who cascaded the ramp in style presenting the range of condom-inspired short skirts, dresses, evening gowns and crop tops, one out beating the other in creativity and style.

Sneh Vadhani says, “I accepted the challenge of choreographing a complex show comprising nearly 40 designer outfits created by 78 students participants from 11 leading fashion design institutes such as Pearl Academy, INIFD, Neeta Lulla School-WWI & WLCI. The socio-glam event was a rare and unique opportunity that SKORE has provided for the student community. The creativity of the students and the social theme gave me energy to slog for days before the grand event. I have been part of many shows but the SKORE Fashionista show will always be special.”

A one-of-her-kind dance performer par excellence, Sneh Vadhani currently runs Svaie Dance Company - School of Performing Arts giving dance education to children, young adults and adults with different modules of Bharat Natyam, Latin Ballroom, Contemporary, Bollywood and Urban Street Hip hop. Sneh was working as a freelance choreographer with event companies like Redom Entertainment, I leaf connects, Impresario Events and Joss events.

Sneh am also improvising on my Jazz, Contemporary and ballet skills at Danceworx Academy by Ashley lobo. I had an opportunity to learn dance forms like Modern, Burlesque and Broadway.

Sneh was selected to be a part of a dance reality show called Halla Bol produced by Reliance Big Productions and it was aired across India. I have conceptualized and choreographed the dance show and the fashion show sequence of Dreams for KEM medical college during which I trained 40 dancers and also meticulously worked on the stage set up, lights, sound and costumes of the dancers.

Sneh was employed as the Head Faculty for dance at the Monttage Film and Television Institute teaching various dance forms to the students of all age groups.

2007-2010

Sneh choreographed for various corporate events and held workshops at Surat, Nagpur, Gwalior, Nashik etc. I was a part of hip hop crew called Swordfish and thus learnt hip hop and Break dance with them while performing as an artiste at various shows. Simultaneously trained for 7 months in ballet pointe technique under the guidance of Mrs. Bharucha Also choreographed a sequence for a TV shows under Balaji telefilms.

Sneh was pursuing Ballroom Teachers Training course from Ballroom Dancing India Under the guidance of Mr. Santhosh  and Ms. Akshatha and got certified in dance categories of  International Standard (Waltz, vienesse Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Tango) , International Latin (Cha cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Paso Doble), American Smooth ( Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Vienesse Waltz), American rhythm (Cha Cha, Rumba, East Coast Swing, Bolero,Mambo) and American Night club ( Salsa, Two Step, Merengue, Hustle) for all three levels i.e. Bronze, Silver and Gold.

2004-2006

Sneh was a part of Shiamak Dawars institute of performing arts learning various technical aspects of contemporary and jazz. In year 2005 choreographed for college events viz. Rapport, Kaleidoscope, Malhar, Utsav, Dreams to name a few.

1993-2003

Sneh was introduced to Indian Classical dance form of Bharatnatyam at the Soundaraya Natya Kala Institution of performing arts. Sneh was involved in various stage productions scripted and directed by Smt. Padmini Radhakrishnan as a performer, actress and teacher. Sneh appeared for all the theory and practical exams held thus achieving a degree in the traditional Indian Classical form of Bharatnatyam.

Broadway life backstage and live has been bought into cinema halls with chimera of velocity and the credit entirely goes to two mastermind’s cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki and Mexican Director Alejandro G. Iñárritu.

They have used the illusion of cinematic approach to get the right feel of the behavioral prototypes of frenzy Broadway culture. The camera delves continuously without any cuts [advance technology at work] at an impossible protracted endurance capturing every moment of the actors expression and brings the regale atmosphere with traditional cinema frames. Add to the gaiety is the next invincible hero of the film a musician who plays drums for the background score Is also peerless at the moments when vital.

Riggan Thomson (Michael Keaton) a washed out Hollywood actor forgotten for his legendary superhero image of Birdman. Now in present attempts to be in vogue by producing and acting in a play, "What We Talk About When We Talk About Love" with host of his co actor Laura (Andrea Riseborough) and first-time Broadway actress Lesley (Naomi Watts) and his daughter Sam (Emma Stone} serves as his assistant, a freak accident at the sets happen to replace actor with none other than a volatile method actor Mike (Edward Norton).

As the first previews go disastrously off beam, Riggan blames Mike for stealing the limelight with his own lines. As the day of the final preview comes closer, Riggan sees Sam and Mike flirting, disappointed he accidentally locks himself out of the theater thus leaving his night gown at the door and walks away in his underwear through Times Square to get back inside. This act of his doesn’t go well with a veteran critic Tabitha and promises him to kill his play with bad reviews.

The film gives high-quality scope to all the characters to portray their talent with flamboyance with no inhibition left as to prove their brilliance. There is no doubt about the Academy Nominations in the different category the film has garnered.

Katrina to start shooting for Fitoor in Kashmir

Katrina Kaif is going to start shooting for Fitoor in Kashmir. She will be leaving for Kashmir this week.

The talented actor will be joining the Fitoor team during the second schedule of the film.

The team was in Kashmir shooting in November and December but Katrina will be joining them only now.

The team got to experience the autumn in Kashmir in the earlier schedule but Katrina will be going now during acute winter.

She is looking forward to the same however the crew has asked her to brace up and be prepared for the extreme climatic conditions there.

Bhushan Kumar's ROY topping music charts

After BABY which is doing successful business at box office and received a lot of critic acclamation, is scoring high with ROY. The trailer of ROY that crossed 3 million views on YouTube in just 3 days of its release and today sees around 6 million views is already topping the music charts.  

ROY which is one of the most anticipated thriller film this year stars Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez. The music of the film that was launched digitally on 11th Jan is topping the music charts across channels, radio and digital platforms. The first song Sooraj Dooba Hai is no.1 everywhere due to its catchy tune which is easy to groove to. Composed by Amaal Mallik & sung by Arijit Singh and Aditi Singh Sharma, the song has crossed 6 million viewership already and is the party anthem for the youth this season. Special screening of Hawaizaada- a starry affair

Thursday night witnessed a starry affair at a suburban multiplex where the much anticipated movie Hawaizaada premiered. With multiple shows slotted for guests, stars walked in through the evening to watch the movie. Some of the guests were Huma Qureishi, Sudhir Mishra, Anand L Rai, Resul Pookutty, Rannvijay, Cyrus, Siddharth Mahadevan, Mohit Chauhan and Raghu Ram amongst many others.

Interestingly the last to walk in were the stars of the movie Ayushmann Khurana and Pallavi Sharda, who were heading back from Delhi and walked indirectly from the airport.

Mithun Chakrobarthy was conspicuous by his absence. We hear he feared it would be like a jinx to attend a pre release date screening.

Director Vibhu Puri was seen beaming through the night, however his mentor Sanjay Leela Bhansali got caught up and was unable to attend.

Hosted by producers Vishal Gurnani, Rajesh Banga and Kamlesh Bhanushali of Trilogic Digital Media were seen welcoming friends and family members.

All in all, the screening was a gala affair with stars showering their best wishes to the debutant director Vibhu and talented Ayushman Khurana.

The trailer of Hey Bro has garnered a lot of positive responses from the film fraternity as well as the audiences, they also launched a promotional song “Birju”featuring  Amitabh Bachchan,Ajay Devgn,Akshay Kumar,Hrithik Roshan,Ranveer  Singh and Prabhudheva  which has  created quite a buzz on social media for its unique lyrics and rap. The song revolves around its catchy one liner “Birju…Maa ke kangan wapis karde re”, in which all the actors are seen asking the un-revealed character ‘Lala’ to return the Kangan. Singers Mika Singh and Udit Narayan have lent their voices to the song.

The first look poster of Hey Bro had Ganesh Acharya and Manindar looking in a fun Avatar, which set the tone of the movie. The song Birju has already made it one of the most-talked about songs  on social media platforms and topping the charts already.

Ganesh Acharya is an Indian National award winner choreographer and occasional film actor .Last seen in a cameo in Remo D’Souza’s ABCD ,will now be seen in upcoming movie  Hey Bro. Directed by Ajay Chandhok the film stars Ganesh Acharya, Maninder and Nupur Sharma in lead roles with  Music by Nitz 'N' Sony(Nitin Arora & Sony Chandy). 

Hey Bro is about Gopi(Ganesh Acharya) who lives with his grandfather(Prem Chopra) in a small village. One day his grandfather tells him that he has a twin brother who stays in Mumbai. Unlike the usual Bollywood twin brothers movies, Hey Bro is a movie with a twist as Gopi’s twin brother Shiv (Played by Manindar) looks totally opposite to him.

Clearly the verdict is out; people have been loving the trailer and the song “Birju”.

"Akshara's look had to stand out" says R.Balki

 Akshara Haasan who makes her big Bollywood debut in R.Balki's Shamitabh alongside Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and National award winner Dhanush is anything but conventional and director R.Balki chose to present that uniqueness to audiences as the spunky,young actress makes her foray into Hindi cinema.

The actress who sports a pixie cut and an all-black attire in the entertainer, went through 12 lookstests before locking in on one - In an industry where sporting short locks is looked upon as a taboo, Aksharadared to be different and chose a pixie cut that is creating trends on the international front with Hollywood stars like Jennifer Lawrence ,Anne Hathway and Kiera Knightley sporting the look.

Says Akshara, " A lot of people had reservations about me chopping my hair and sporting a really short pixie - They also do not associate black with something an actress should wear onscreen .However, I wanted the look to be spunky and different. I do not believe in stereotypes".

Says R.Balki, "The first time I met Akshara was outside an editing studio . The look I saw her in outside that studio inspired the look of the character when I wrote the script .When we cast her ,my first brief to her was to go back to the look I first saw her in...minus the blue hair color."

 हॉरर फिल्म कर रही है ,और उसकी शूटिंग पोलैंड में ८० प्रतिशत हो चुकी है और क्लीमेक्स मलेशिया में शूट करना था पर जैकलिन को अपने व्यस्त शेडूल के चलते यह शूट करना मुमकिन नहीं था तो जैकलिन ने लेखक निर्देशक जेम्स सिम्पसन को अपनी परेशानी बताई और फिल्म का बाकी का हिस्सा मुंबई शूट करने को कहा  ​। 

फिल्म के निर्माताओ ने जैकलिन यह बात मान ली और पोलैंड में जो सेट लगा था वह मुंबई के फिल्म सिटी में बनाया गया। यह एक हन्टेड हाउस है जहां फिल्म में जैकलिन के क्लाइमेक्स सीन है। इस फिल्म में जैकलिन सारा फॉर्डिंग नामक सायकॉलॉजी की स्टूडेंड का किरदार निभा रही है। 

जैकलिन कहती है " यह मेरा पहला इंटरनेशनल प्रोजेक्ट है और इसके लिए में बहुत चिंतित हु क्यूंकि मेरे बिना फिल्म का क्लाइमेक्स शूट नहीं होगा। एक ही समय पर एक देश से दूसरे देश सफर नहीं कर सकती क्यूंकि में कारन जोहर की आगामी फिल्म का शूट भी मुंबई में कर रही हु।

Yet another tale of a dreaded American du Pont's family wrestling enthusiast John E. du Pont biographical of hiring the 1984 Olympic champion brothers Mark and Dave Schultz and ending with a shocking tragic killings of the Olympic champion.

Directed by Bennett Miller ‘Foxcatcher’ gyrates around the three major characters Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum), Dave Schultz (Mark Ruffalo) and John E. du Pont (Steve Carell). Mark an Olympic gold medal-winning wrestlers is approached by du Pont for a private wrestling training facility and consequently to join his wrestling team, "Team Foxcatcher" while Mark accepts the offer Dave reasons of being committed to his family and rejects being a part of the team.

Meanwhile Mark heads a Team of Wrestlers to get ready for the upcoming Seoul Olympics and progresses well being a favorite of du Pont, a petty incident between Mark and du Pont intensifies into a split and as result Dave is hired to coach the team members. Dave manages to get Mark back to the team, as the Olympic Trials in Pensacola, Florida begins Mark shows disastrous result thus pissing off du Pont enormously and the upshot being terrible.

The movie has some fantastic performances by the lead cast, particularly by Steve Carell as the wrestling enthusiast John E. du Pont he gets into the skin of the role and delivers some moments of silent expressions and strong impact with his somnolent eyes and interesting dialogue prototype. Bravo
