Mumbai, November 4, 2014:Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF), the 3rd largest comedy festival in the world brings big laughs to India this November. The Festival has been brought to India by Teamwork Arts.
The comedy talent hunt, RAW Comedy India Season 3 which will be held in Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Delhi from  7th- 22nd November 2014will scout the best stand up comedians fromthese cities and will be hosted by Raghav Mandava.
The winner of MICF Raw comedy gets a chance to perform at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia on an all-expense paid trip in April 2015.
In addition to Raw Comedy, this year Teamwork Arts brings to India, the best of international comedy via the best talent from the Australian comedy festival in the form of “MICF Roadshow”. Top international comedians, namely -Ronny Chieng, Kate Mclennan, Elbow Skin, Nish Kumar and David Williams will perform at the MICF Roadshow in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkatta and will also judge MICF Raw comedy. They will also hold workshops prior to the heats/competition for the Raw Comedy participants.
The finalists for the recently concluded Raw Comedy 2 in February 2014 for each of the 4 cities will be performing along the cast of the MICF Roadshow in each city.  The winner of the last season – Rohan Desai will perform with the International comics across four cities.

2 finalists from Raw Comedy 2 -AkshayShinde&Abish Mathew will be performing with the cast of the MICF Roadshow in Mumbai.

RONNYCHIENG
One of Australia’s fastest rising stars, Ronny had record breaking sold-out seasons in 2013 and 2014  at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival. He’s wowed crowds in London and Edinburgh and scored an invitation to the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. 
KATEMCLENNAN
One of Australia’s funniest ladies with several award-winning comedy live shows, Kate visited India in February 2014 to lead Raw Comedy workshops and can’t wait to return. Kate is a regular on International TV channels with acts that propel growth to their television ratings and an increase to her list of awards.

ELBOWSKIN
One of the most in demand musical headline acts in the country, Melbourne musical comedy duo ElbowSkin has been entertaining crowds around Australia & the world since 2003. For their debut visit to India they have been busy writing hilarious cricket-focused songs to add to their repertoire! 

NISHKUMAR
The Guardian called the UK’s Nish Kumar “A highly polished, subtly innovative stand-up”. Fresh from sell-out seasons at London’s Soho Theatre and The Edinburgh Fringe, as well as a critically acclaimed Australian debut at the 2014 Melbourne Comedy Festival, Nish is one of our favorite English comics.

DAVIDWILLIAMS
David Williams is the James Bond of comedy. Sharp, witty and charismatic – he is one of Australia’s most sought-after headline artists.  Dave is on the road constantly. A regular at all major comedy festivals, he tours Australia as well as the UK and USA to the consistent warm approval of his fans.

ROHAN DESAI
A college drop out by choice,Rohan is a film and animation enthusiast.His comic talent was discovered in Raw Comedy India Season 2.The platform opened up new avenues for Rohan who has performed not just in India but has wooed audiences globally.According to Rohan,comedy is yet another way of telling a story and he can't wait to unveil yet another chapter in his comic journey return from where he started.
