Navi Mumbai, 21st October 2014: With over 10 lakh people affected by floods in Jammu & Kashmir recently, the next big challenge for the people and the state is rebuilding the cities and villages. Where help has been pouring in from all corners, India’s leading hypermarket,HyperCITY Retail andthe iYogi Foundation have come together for a unique initiative to give a helping hand to this cause, under the initiative Bridge to Kashmir. HyperCITY Retail has taken the initiative to drive the social campaign this festive season. Adding her support for this initiative is actor, Mona Singh – aka Jassi who also has a special place for Kashmir, has urged the people to share and donate at various HyperCITY stores for the flood affected families in the valley.
HyperCITY stores have installed a huge box where people can submit their donations. They can also donate groceries, essential home appliances from a range of products available at HyperCITY stores as well. The non profit organisation iYogi Foundationwhich has been actively working for this
Cause under its Bridge to Kashmir initiative has made a list of items people can donate. The three supporting pillars – HyperCITY, Bridge to Kashmir and Mona Singh have unanimously come together to make a difference and inspire people to contribute towards this project.

Mona Singh who hails from an army background has some of the most special memories of the beautifulstate, as her father was posted in Jammu for a few years. Whenapproached to be part of this initiative, she agreed immediately and has actively supported it. On her association with the cause, Mona says “It’s very disheartening to see the state fall apart in such a multitude. I am proud to be associated with this initiative and congratulate both HyperCITY Retail and Bridge To Kashmir for driving it with passion. I also urge and request the people to step forward and to do their bit. While the nation celebrates and enjoys festivities lets come together and enlighten the homes of our fellow citizens too.”
