Director Duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller & Jonah Hill actor and producer of this haphazard comedy thriller ‘22 Jump Street’ have just one thing to give the audience is Gloss but  no humor. The movie is a fancy satire of undercover cops who go bonkers while unearthing a drug racket.

Greg Jenko [Tatum] and Morton Schmidt [Hill] two undercover cops who are on a trail to bust drug deals on the street which are been sold for a peanut price. Deputy Chief Hardy [Offerman] gives them a new drug case under the watchfulness of not so good Captain Dickson [Ice cube]. Drug to be investigated is strangely called 'WHYPHY' as a secret short form to a college lingo work hard and play hard.

They split into a different group in college Jenko gets entrenched to a college stud Zook [Russell] as they bond over gym frenzy and flirting with girls. Schmidt dates Maya [Dickson] a poetry student and indulges in raw passion and intense conversations with her, to Schmidt horror Maya happens to be a teenage daughter of Dickson and all hell break lose when they gather for a parent meet at the college [Cube does one hilarious of a act when he reacts to the fact of his girl been screwed by Schmidt]

A riotous climax follows at an exotic beach with bikini babes cheering this duo to overcome the villainous attempt of Mercedes [Jillian Bell] and her partners who have come to distribute the drugs at the beach.

The movie is thoroughly loaded with deliberate gags and funny situation which will keep you in splits. The Music is a master stroke by Mark Mothersbaugh which keeps the movies rhythm on high octane and enjoyable to view. Jonah Hill is irresistibly funny and steals the show from his co actor Tatum. The end credits are not to be missed as there more fireworks in pipeline.
