ANINDITA NAYAR
She’s fresh, she’s spunky and
she won’t be ignored. Delhi’s wild child AninditaNayar bounced from Turkey to
America and landed right in the center of the Indian modeling scene. Anindita’s
easy charm and statuesque elegance bagged her first campaign for Idea with
none other than AbhishekBachchan. After that, she blazed through with a
star-spangled repertoire of ads from a Panasonic ad with RanbirKapoor to a
Garnier hair color ad with KarishmaKapoor. But if you think she’s just another
Delhi darling, you’re mistaken. Anindita’s talent and stage presence is what
caught the audience’s eye in various campaigns for popular brands like LG,
Godrej and Hero Honda.
After making a mark in the
modeling industry, the bright-eyed girl is now leaving no stone unturned to
fetch her Bollywood dreams. Therefore, after modeling for two years, the actor
took to the Hindi film industry and is she taking Bollywood by storm? This
girl-next-door has already bagged three films in her kitty as the lead actress
– “AmitSahni Ki List", "HasmukhPighal Gaya" and "3AM".
Her debut film “AmitSahni Ki
List” is set for a release and stars Vir Das. Her next, “HasmukhPigal Gaya” is
a biggie! Produced by Sanjay Dutt, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, VidyaBalan,
Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt himself. While her third project, “3AM” is a
movie by the Blood Money director Vishal Mahadkar and stars Rannvijay Singh
opposite her.
When she’s not making magic
on the silver screen, Anindita is a travel enthusiast who has roamed the world.
As a student of history, she was enthralled with Turkey- where she lived for a
while. Reflecting back on her experience, she describes it as an ornate
treasure chest of world history, saying that it inspired her to explore other
parts of the world. On one of these exploring expeditions abroad, an agent from
a reputed modeling agency scouted her. But she only started modelling
once she was back home in India. This animal-loving, free-spirited adventure
junkie loves narayalpaani and the beach, preferably together. In fact, she is a
trained Scuba Diver, and she uses that skill professionally to shoot a number
of underwater sequences and personally, to escape the world for a few minutes.
Anindita may seem innocent, but
she’s a street smart, wise-cracking tomboy who will give you a run for your
money…or perhaps..a swim?"
