Gang of Ghosts
review
ANIZ FILMVALA
*****
A gang of ghost , Mahi Gill, Anupam Kher, Meera Chopra, J.
Brandon Hill, Saurabh Shukla, Rajpal Yadav, Yashpal Sharma and more from
different place and era gather at an unknown mansion in an up market Mumbai locality
to find solace after death.
Raju [Sharman Joshi] a loser in a bollywood as a writer
encounters with Aditya[ Parambrata Chatterjee] a film maker, narrates him a
fictitious [suspense] story unfolding all the characters leaving in a haunted
mansion as their last habitat in the city. As they are glued into a future
blockbuster in the making, there is a twist at the end giving you Goosebumps
about the real side of the story.
Movie is more about song and dance break rather spooky
entertainment.Mahie gill and new comer Meera do fill the glamour quotient. Rest
of the cast hardly has created any parody to add fun into killing the long two
hours.
A Bengali remake by Director Satish Kaushik is a wretched attempt
and surely to be missed for all the reason.
