Dipannita rose to fame with her offbeat looks owing to her Assamese origin and soon set the modeling world on fire as she scorched the ramp for some of India's biggest designers and fashion labels. After having made her debut in the movie 16th December, Dipannita has always done little yet well received roles in movies like My Brother Nikhil and Ladies v/s Ricky Behl while balancing it wonderfully with her modeling career. After having dominated the modeling world for many years, Dipannita now has her eye set with a firm ground on Bollywood in 2014! With 3 movies in her kitty, 2014 seems to be the most upbeat year for Dipannita as she is a part of completely varied projects. She will begin with the release of Bejoy Nambiar's production of the Hindi Remake of popular Tamil film, Pizza 3D with Arunoday Singh. Then in mid of the year she will play the lead in a futuristic thriller, Ikka Top directed by debutant director Faizan Kareem and will conclude the year with a socio-drama called Take it Easy.
When she is not working in between crazy shoot schedules or busy walking the ramp, Dipannita co-handles her Luxury Yacht Business with her husband Dilsher Singh Atwal.
