IBJA sponsors Bhojpuri Dabanggs team in CCL


The India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) add another milestone by lending their support to Bhojpuri Dabanggs team in the fourth edition of the popular Celebrity Cricket Leaugue (CCL). A preview of the Bhojpuri Dabanggs team will be seen at the trial match to be held at Air India Ground, Kalina on January 18 from 7 p.m. onwards.

Recently, the Bombay Bullion Association renamed them as IBJA to represent the association at Pan India level. The decision to sponsor the Bhojpuri Dabanggs team is a systematic call by the association to cater jewellers at the national level. The decision was taken jointly by President Mr Mohit Kamboj and members of the association. Mr Kamboj said, “This endeavour will help us give an exposure to different cities across India.”

The CCL is a non-professional men’s cricket league contested by eight teams consisting of film actors, including celebrities from the regional film industry. The eight teams participating in the tournament are Kerala Strikers, Chennai Rhinos, Telugu Warriors, Mumbai Heroes, Karnataka Bulldozers, Bengal Tigers, Bhojpuri Dabanggs and Veer Marathi.

The Bhojpuri Dabanggs team is owned by none other than the President of the association Mr Mohit Kamboj along with his wife Aksha Kamboj. Superstars of Bhojpuri cinema, Manoj Tiwari and Ravi Kishen will lead the team along with other members. The first match of Bhojpuri Dabanggs will be against Veer Marathi on January 25 at 7 p.m. To find out the complete schedule you can visit the team’s official website.
