Aamir is thankful to his fans in Punjab
Aamir was very nervous before the release of Dhoom.
The
winters this year are very severe. The cold wave has slowed the
everyday workings, especially in the northern belt. In various north
cities like Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Jalandhar the mornings are very
cold and there is heavy fog. Even the sun sets in early and the cold is
almost biting.
Before
the film released, Aamir was getting constant feedback from YRF and
trade on how the weather could affect the film’s release.
The weather usually makes it difficult for the audiences to venture out.
However,
the film got a fantastic response from the northern belt. The film
opened in a big way and continued to soar at the box office.
Infact, the Punjab sector particularly has done extremely well. Even the early morning shows were more or less housefull.
Aamir is extremely thankful to his fans in Punjab who have despite extreme weather conditions have gone and watched the film.
The
ace actor has been very keen to personally thank the audiences. He has
actively been discussing this with his team and was also considering to
visit Punjab.
