Theater Company Manchtantra Presents "Love etc" in Mumbai on 29th Dec

Manch Tantra, a 10 year old theatre group has come a long way since its inception. It was formed in the year 2003 by Ayushmann Khurrana, Rochak Kohli and others who are presently successfully etching their names in theatre and bollywood. From a group of 10 enthusiastic thespians who took up this endeavor of creating a benchmark in the field of theatre today Manchtantra comprises of over 50 members pan India. The versatility of the group is evident through the diverse genres which the group portrays in its productions, including musicals, comedy, romance, tragedy, satire etc.

This December, Manchtantra is bringing for the Mumbai audience a hinglish romantic comedy ‘ LOVE ETC’ conceptualised by Sukriti Vadhera ,penned by Raveena Beniwal & Sapna Kakkar & directed by  Hardeep Singh Sethi , an experienced theatre artist.
The play ' love etc' promises to enthrall the audience with scintillating character based performances & captivating choreography.

The soulful musical score has been composed by Rochak Kohli and sung by Ayushamann Khurrana and Rochak Kohli (Paani Da Rang Fame)

“Love Etc” is a story that brings to life the “Etc” in love.

Maya, the carefree spoilt girlfriend’s insecurities start to creep in her decade old relationship when her live in partner Pranav, a photographer, reveals his obsession with Sharon, a fictitious character in a book. Life within the walls of a relationship with the clumsy Maya is getting on his nerves, while the overzealous girlfriend’s endeavors to win back her boyfriend ends up in a comedy of errors which spins around the universal fact that men are from mars and women from Venus!  Whether the couple manages to see through the “etc” and ultimately realise their love or do the self created complexities get the better of them is what the play has in store.

Packed with music, choreography, comedy and full on drama, the play will compel the audience to laugh at the complexities of love and at the same time relate the incidents to their own “not so perfect” relationships.
