Cosmopolitan Party
New Delhi,
November 19th — The Foyer on One Style Mile was the place to be on
Tuesday night as Cosmopolitan Magazine and professional haircare brand TRESemmé hosted
an exclusive party for Delhi’s
fashion influencers, in association with Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
The party was designed as a live theatre concept—an authentic backstage area at fashion week with clothes racks, mood boards, make-up stations and three giant screens playing some Cosmopolitan’s favourite shows from Mercedes Benz Fashion Week including Falguni & Shane Peacock, Rebecca Minkoff, and Vivienne Tam. Models rushed about getting their hair styled by TRESemmé professionals, practiced routines directed by choreographers (played by theatre actors!), and were fitted for gorgeous Falguni & Shane Peacock outfits from their Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
The guests enjoyed sparkling wine, and munched on chocolate-dipped strawberries, mini chocolate and energy bars, gourmet pizzas, and model-portion salad plates—typical backstage snack food—while taking in the high-energy environment. Frantic show directors barked orders to the leggy models some of whom were clad in bathrobes with their hair set in rollers, waiting impatiently for turns in front of the mirrors. Talk about live theatre at its best! Guests left the party with a fun TRESemmé and Cosmo goodie bag, and a pretty memorable experience!
