The supernatural thriller ‘The Conjuring’ released on August 2nd 2013 amidst several other film releases to excellent reviews and very good word of mouth. The film did business worth 3.55 crores INR in India,
the highest for a non-dubbed horror film! The film released in 128 screens in the country. The Conjuring released in US on July 19th 2013 and has already surpassed the 100 $ million club and is still going strong, racing ahead of several big budget films.
The Conjuring is directed by James Wan (director of Saw and Insiduous) and stars Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson.
