BappiLahiri records song for film on Bar Dancers
“MUMBAI CAN DANCE SALA”.
Well known composer and singer BappiLahiri records first song after long gap for film “Mumbai Can Dance Sala” in voice of Mamta Sharma. Film is based on life of bar dancers. Song was recorded at Empire Studio on 29th July 2013.
Writer Director Sachinder Sharma said “as everyone knows that dance bar were closed approximately 7 years ago, thousands of bar dancers were unemployed, now again dance bar are going to reopen, but where were and what these bar dancers were doing these year is not known, this film’s story is based on this particular thought and Bappi Da who has given lots of hits during 1980 and 1990 is the best composer for this subject”. Song was penned by Shabbir and film is being produced by Ranjeet Sharma under banner of Ashima Films.
BappiLahiri is known as composer of dance numbers. Super hits songs like ‘KaliyonKaChaman’, ‘GoriHainKalayaien’ composed by Bappi da said “After completing 40 years in music world of Bollywood, this is a golden opportunity for me, after singing ‘U-Lala, U-Lala’, I am giving reality touch in music of this film, line of first song sung by Mamta Sharma ‘Make-up Hai, Shake Up Hai, Beauty Kamal Hai, DekhoJawaniKaKaisa Ye HaalHai’ itself mentions pain and pressure of bar dancers.
