Unveiling “HUM TO CHALE LONDON” with Tochi Raina

Famous singer Tochi Raina impressed the entire audience with his melodious and soulful singing of one of the songs of his film “HUM TO CHALE LONDON” at its unveiling function on 12th April, at Café Ivy in Khar. The entire star cast of the film and technical team were present during this occasion.

Film “HUM TO CHALE LONDON” is  Manish Maingi’s second film as a producer along with Rashmi. He has co produced “Chitkabrey Shades of grey ‘which was successfully released in 2011. Film has screenplay, direction and editing by Prakash Saini, with music by Akshay Bafilla, cinematography by Sameer Bhaskar, design consultant is Shiraaz Henry. The event was well organized by Supratim Sen.

This film revolves around three main characters, THEY ALL THREE HAVE A COMMON DREAM-they all dream of going to London (United Kingdom) and have their respective careers and lifestyle sorted with a good source of income in their respective professions. But one incident changes their visions, priorities and focus of their fairy tale and turns them into human beings with substance and inculcates’ a never say die attitude’ in their soul, finally making them decisive and matured in life letting them know the worth of India as a nation. The genre of movie is humor with a thamessage to the youth about the worth of India as a nation.

This was his first hip hop song and he enjoyed working with Akshay Bafila, says Tochi Raina.   

Film has introduced many new artist like Amit Bhardwaaj, Jasleen Kaur, Tarun Bajaj ,Anuj  Gill, Ajay Rathore, Manish Maingi, Deepti Acchreja, Swati Kaushik and Dinesh Choudhry.



Character Sketch

Jesleen: Sukhvinder Kaur (Sooki)
A confident corporate woman, working in a freight forwarding company as a marketing analyst lives with her mother in Janak Puri, New Delhi, having a Punjabi accent and a strong headed woman who want to balance her professional life to the best.
Anuj Gill: Dara Singh (Dara)
A well built hunk working in a gym as a masseuse and a personal instructor, living in an unauthorized colony with his parents and is fed up of drawing milk every morning from the buffaloes in his house. He dreams of changing his lifestyle. He is facing a bad time with taunts of his father Arjun Singh. A lost character living in dreams.
Amit Bhardwaj: Baljit Singh (Balli)
A tall lean aspiring model who participated in Mr. India contest but was chucked out in the elimination rounds is full of himself and has a laid back attitude in life. His elder  brother,Harbhajan Singh is an owner of a transportation company, running ten trucks and is fed up of his loser brother. Baljit dreams of changing his lifestyle to betterment.
Tarun Bajaj: Kuku Singh (Kuku)
A businessman, who is running a job placement agency in Bikaji Cama. He is a focused businessman and Sooki’s childhood friend. A man who supports all the characters to take the right path to success.

ALL THREE (Sooki, Dara and Balli) HAVE A COMMON DREAM - Going to work in London to pursue their career and lifestyle sorted with a good source of income in their respective professions.
But one incident completely changes their visions and priorities. The incident turns them to focus on their fairy tale, with substance and inculcates ‘a never say die attitude’ in their soul, finally making them decisive and matured in life letting them know the worth of India as a nation.
The genre of movie is humour with a message to the youth about the worth of India as a nation.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Manish Maingi’s, an engineer by education, he has been into the business of Logistics for the last two decades. His passion of cinema brings him into movie making.
It’s his second film as a producer. He has already co produced “Chitkabrey Shades of grey ‘which was successfully released in 2011.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Prakash Saini, a BSC graduate, hailing from Mathura, he has been the part of the movie right from scripting till editing .He believes that the subject oriented scripts sell in the market and it’s time for newcomers to make a mark for themselves in the Indian cinema. Prakash, leaving no stone unturned and giving Indian cinema a perfect message oriented  directorial venture with bits of humour to balance it, says ’The subject is always the hero’
He has directed two films till now which has been released successfully.
  1. Meri Padosan starring -Sarwar Ahuja, Sanjay Mishra Sadhika, Snehal Dhabi, Khayali by  Sagar Creation released in April – 2009
  2. Ek Aadat starring Aryeman, Punit Tejwani, Kashish ,Vijay Raaz, Snehal Dhabi by Vasani Films released in Sep - 2010
Also, he has done three short films and so many corporate films till date.
“Hum To Chale London” is his third feature film.
