Synopsis:
This
is a one-night story – it’s New Year eve and two strangers living in two
different cities [New York/Chicago] are tossed into each other’s company by the
hand of fate in a comedy of errors that’s as funny as it is enchanting. And
just as the world is celebrating New Years, the two stranger’s realise their
own romances are falling apart…
Making
a desperate bid to sustain their own relationships they inadvertently fall in
love over one magical New Year’s eve…

Randhir
is a shy Sikh Indian who has crossed 40 years of age and stays with his father
Gursharan Singh Dhody (Prem Chopra). An accounts graduate from NY University,
he is a Sikh who doesn’t wear a turban but wears a kada and respects his
religion that reflects his Sikh roots.
A
introvert person by nature he doesn’t have many friends and never had a
relationship as he turns shy in front of girls. It’s very recently that he is
dating Riya (Tanishta Chatterjee), who has agreed in marrying him. Randhir
likes Hindi film music, Indian food and is always working or helping people. He
appreciates honesty and punctuality and hates quarrels, liquor. Being a
workaholic he doesn’t have many friends.
And
on this New Year’s eve “Randhir has decided he is going to change his life… No
more routine, no more being a workoholic… No more being a Bachelor…..

A
young, pretty 26 year old orphan from Delhi, Tikku moves to New York after her
graduation and teaches music in a prep school run by American Asians in the
neighbourhood. Tikku even after being an orphan, she stays with self respect
and doesn’t want to be a burden of responsibility on anyone.
A
foodie, she likes continental and Italian food and loves colourful clothes. She
shares her apartment in NY with Vidya an intern at a fashion magazine. She is
dating Ishaan (Navin Choudhary) who is very possessive about her that Tikku
likes. She also likes dancing on anything, prefers eating vegetarian food and
dislikes someone who invades her privacy, lies.
She
has put her life together… got herself a fiancé by applying in a matrimonial…
but this New Year… One Day… One Chance…
and she has to make One Choice….

A brief synopsis:
Somebody said “Love is a piano dropped from a
fourth story window, and you were in the wrong place at the wrong time.” A
comedy of errors in the classic Shakespearian style the film is set in New
York...
And our protagonist indeed finds himself at the
wrong place at the wrong time. But this time instead of standing below a wrong
window he was inside the wrong apartment!!
Love knocked him out in that apartment but
eventually made his day – and his life!
From here on starts a comedy of error as all
relationships collapse and Sunny, Kangana, Navin & Tannishta find
themselves in a situation, which leads the film to a point of wonder…. Will
Kangana ever respond to Sunny? Will she return to Navin? Will Tannishta &
Sunny live up to their wedding vows…?
The riveting climax will lend all the answers to
this intriguing romantic comedy.
