The actress has refused Rajshri's offer to act in upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. The actress, who is currently busy with The Jaipur Jewellery TV Show, was approached by the Sooraj Barjatya to play Salman’s sister in the film.
Swara Bhaskar eventually stepped into the role; the actress is playing Salman's sister in the family drama revolving around sibling rivalry.
According to source "Amrita would have loved to do a film with Salman, but the role was that of his sister. Her character has negative and complications in life, she is not in a hurry for it to move cute girl in a negative roll. You're comfortable watching it.
