Big Eyes a biographical drama directed by Tim Burton, focuses on a wretchedness of a woman with creative genuineness of painting especially of children’s inharmoniously eyes which was a must on every wall in 60’s. The movie is made with great subtleness showing gradually dominance and spitefulness of a man.

Set in the period 1950 Artist Margaret Keane [Amy Adams] is a street side portrait artiste but cannot sell her paintings due to inability of good communication with customers. Walter Keane [Christoph Waltz] gets involved with Margaret and marries her, being marketing savvy he progressively takes credit for all her work and is a famous person world over. As Margaret realizes her impending skills going disregarded she stands for her identity and therefore gets into a court battle with Walter and ultimately prevails to prove that she has been behind the wonderful work which the world has been admiring.

Academy Award winning actor Christoph Waltz deep dives into the flesh of Walter displaying the true colors of a man with never dying spirit to overwhelm the woman. Amy Adams justifies Margaret in showing the vulnerability and weakness which a woman goes through when dominated by a man in her life. Excellent production design in creating the period of 1950’s and 60’s.
