Street in Yari Road to be named after the Late Dr.Ashok Chopra.
The late Dr.Ashok Chopra, renowned surgeon, armyman,
philanthropist who lost his battle to cancer last year is fondly missed
and remembered as the city is soon to commemorate his memory and all the
great work he was instrumental in.
The late Dr.Chopra will soon have a street named in his
honor, located in Yari Road close to the Chopra residence. The inaugural
ceremony will be attended by close family and friends as well as
members of the NGO’s that Dr.Chopra was associated with.
A huge honor to be bestowed with, the decision of having a
road named after him was taken thanks to his years of service in the
army, as well as his contribution to the field of surgery and
philanthropy.
Confirming the news says Priyanka Chopra’s spokesperson,
“Yes, a road will be named in honor of the late Dr.Ashok Chopra .His
years of service as a doctor has garnered deep admiration and respect.
It is a big moment for the family”.
