Harlequin unveils ‘When Hari
Met His Saali’ in Mumbai

Mumbai, June 24, 2014: Harlequin India, today
unveiled screenwriter – Harsh Warrdhan’s first title – When Hari Met His Saali
– a romantic comedy about relationships, in Mumbai at the Crossword Store in
Kemps Corner with Bollywood actress Amrita Rao.
The story of When Hari
Met His Saali is set in Los Angeles and Nagpur, India and is a funny and fresh
look at young people, their dreams, longings, aches and heartbreaks. It’s all
about two sisters with bad history between them and one clueless man, and what
happens when it turns into one whacky triangle, and how a person must be
careful of what he/she wishes for in the name of love.
Harsh Warrdhan has written
fiction for TV shows and films. He has also written and directed an American
film called ‘A Secret Handshake’ in the USA. Harsh moved from an engineering
background in India tostudying cinema in the US and has
now penned his first book for Harlequin.
Speaking about the new
romantic comedy title entering the Harlequin India stable, Amrita Chowdhury, Publishing Director and Country Head, Harlequin India,
said, “When I first read When Hari Met Saali, I found it hilarious and so
realistic. When we find our life partner, we do everything we try to change
them, but what we don’t realize is that you cannot change another person.
Harsh’s view on the youth’s idea of romance and life in general is perfect and
a great read for those who’d enjoy a good book.”

When asked about the book, Amrita Rao, Bollywood actress said, “A book that got me hooked
starting from its title. It has it's heart in the right place so this Hariand
