Critically acclaimed movie The Raid 2, originally an Indonesian
and dubbed in English is an extremely violent and gore in visuals a brutal cinematic
vision of underworld with countless mass murder and bloodshed. Written and Directed
by Gareth Evans the film gives you full appetizer of an action filled with
merciless killings and incineration of vengeance on a severe combative way.
A Rising gangster Bejo [Alex Abbad] assassinates Rama's [Iko
Uwais] brother Andi[Donny Alamsyah] consequently leaving him frenzied to take
revenge of his brother’s death.Rama plots a passage to enter the gangs with the
help of Bunawar [Cok Simbara] a cop who he can trust and unearth the nexus of
police commissioner Reza [Roy Marten] with the Bangun and Goto gangs.
Uco [Arifin Putra] is the only son of gang lord Bangun [Tio
Pakusadewo] as Rama tricks him to be his friend by saving his life in mayhem at
the jail. As he continues to be a henchman to the Bangun’s orginaztion, Bejo [ Alex
Abbad]a self-made ambitious gangster is on a trail to destroy the Japanese
ganglords with Uco’s help.
A series of war triggers between the gangs as who rules the
next command over the city.
Two hours of nonstop action filled with extraordinary car
chase, one on one combat martial art and a mud mob fights is something not seen
in a regular action flicks. A movie strictly for hard core action frenzied
audience light heart ted give a miss.
