YRF have reached out to Kashmir valley authorities and government to open at least one cinema in Kashmir valley for Hindi Films.

YRF have reached out to Kashmir valley authorities and government to open at least one cinema in Kashmir valley for Hindi Films.

Most theaters have been either burnt down or shut down completely since years there. No Hindi films or any form of entertainment prevails. Only connect is television and pirated cds.

YRF has taken a pioneering step where they have initiated a dialogue to open a theater (if not more) where Hindi films can get show casing starting with Dhoom 3.

Its unfortunate that the local audience doesn't get to see films at all.

Idea came from the fact that Dhoom 3 as a film breaks all barriers of age and language it is a film meant for all. But intention of YRF is to open this cinema hall for every film that releases and the start can be Dhoom 3.

"It has been almost three months that the dialogue is on. Its not easy as all theaters there have been burnt down." source close to YRF says.

The film starring Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra is slated to release on 20th December.
