LUNCH BOX

*****
The movie puts a smile on your face and a tear in your eyes, a very realistic window to the life of middle class.
Irrfan Khan as Sajan Fernandes a crotchety middle age widower goes about his life without a smile and how his life changes with the added flavours of a Lunch Box.The gamut of emotions on his face is a masterpiece.
Nimrat Kaur as Illa a house wife trying to weane her husband through his stomach cooks delicious food with the help of a neighbour and how she finds excitement in her life when her efforts are appreciated and how she waits for the letters in the lunch box which has changed address and reaches Fernandes
Rather than her husband how she reveals her inner self to a person she has not met and finds a niche of happiness in that.
Nawazuddin Siddique is a colosal of a actor this time he showcase's the character as Shaikh who is waiting to be trained by Fernandes as he is in for a promotion to take over him after his retirement. He portrays the challenges and life of a young man who wants to achieve something in life.
Riteish Batra excells as a director and has nailed the exact life of the middle class, as well as the coming and going of the dabbawalas of our Aamchi Mumbai.
Its a beautiful film with an insight to a human nature and emotions.A movie rare to be made again so not to be missed at any cost.
