pleasant surprise from Ramesh Taurani
After being part of back to back hits, Jolly LLB and Satyagraha, Amrita Rao has
been receiving a lot of compliments for her performance. Now she has further reason
to be happy - Ramesh Taurani the
producer who had launched her in Ishq Vishk called her to compliment her on her
performance in Satyagraha.
Ramesh Taurani says, "After watching
the film, I could not help calling Amrita. We have bonded since our Ishq
Vishk days. She has grown immensely as an actress. I felt proud, especially because
we were the ones to launch her."
He adds, "To hold your own in front
of Amitabh Bachchan is not every actor's cup of tea. She
has matured with every film and is a strong contender for awards. I have always
told her to sign more films so that she continues to prove her mettle as an
actress."
