Saregama & Nokia come together for a ‘one of its kind’ music tie-up
Mumbai 29th May, 2013: Saregama, India’s flagship Music and Entertainment Company, amongst its various digital initiatives, today announced a ‘one of its kind’ association with Nokia for an exclusive tie-up for its new film music albums.
Through this association, Saregama & Nokia will offer Nokia handset buyers a rare and exclusive opportunity to download these 5 film music albums for free from the Nokia Music Store. These albums will not be available on any other online music store for a period of 1 week.
Nokia Lumia users will also be able to enjoy a special mix, ‘The Southern Exclusives’, from these five soundtracks on Mix Radio during the period of exclusivity.
Vendhar Movies, the production house behind these films, is one of the most prominent & upcoming names in the South Indian film industry. The movies are targeted at the youth.
For the first time, the South Indian Cinema will witness a grand launch of three of these music albums in Geneva -- Thillu Mullu-2, Sutta Kadhai & Nalanum Nandhiniyum - with a simultaneous release on the 1st of June 2013.
With the very first theatrical trailer of Thillu Mullu-2 hitting 1.9 million views within 3 weeks the content promises great traction with the South Indian movie enthusiasts.

THILLU MULLU – 2
'Thillu Mullu' is a rib-tickling comedy caper Tamil Movie produced by Vendhar Movies, directed by K Balachander, with Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role in the year 1981. Based on 'Thillu Mullu', the remake, popularly known as 'Thillu Mullu 2‘ starring Mirchi Shiva, directed by Badri is also a comedy flavored movie with different characters, like Shiva acting as a Kung Fu master and Isha Talwar as the female lead pair. The remake also features Prakash Raj, Kovai Sarala, Sathyan, Ilavarasu, Manobala and Tollywood ace comedian Brahmanandam.

SUTTA KADHAI
A murder mystery, with a comic ting
Sutta Kadhai, a Tamil Film produced by S. Madhan of Vendhar Movies and directed by debutant Subu, is a dark comedy thriller about the happenings in 1980s and 90s and is based on the novels of those times. The story revolves around events which leads to a mess created by two cops and they end up clearing the mess with the help of a female protagonist. The two cops are ardent fans of an author of a comic book.
Comic book character plays an important role in the film. Sutta Kadhai is set in the backdrop of an imaginary hill station and the film has been shot in and around Kodaikanal. This Tamil film is produced by S.Madhan of VENDHAR MOVIES. The combinations of new faces Mr.Balaji a popular Radio Jockey and YOUTUBE famous "step step"- Mani will be playing the lead role in this movie titled Sutta Kadhai. Balaji is not new to acting and has featured in comical roles in A L Vijay's films like Poi Solla Porom, Madarasapattinam and Thandavam. Venki, who hosts a show in Youtube is the other hero. Newcomer Lakshmipriya plays the female lead. Naseer, M S Baskar, R S Sivaji, Jayaprakash are also in the cast. Produced by Libra Productions (first copy producer), the movie has Nishar cranking the camera.
The film has a total of six tracks composed by MADLEY BLUES and penned beautifully by Lyricist Subu.

After Ranjith's venture with Attakathi, 'Nalanum Nandhiniyum' is the third movie for Nanditha with another Assistant Director of Venkat Prabhu namely Venkatesh. Nandita made her debut in Sandalwood with 'Nanda Nandita' a commercial hit. It was later remade in Tamil with the same name where Meghna Raj played her role. She made the cut for the role as she has strong South Indian looks, which impressed the filmmakers.
