INDIA BIKE WEEK 2021

THE COUNTRY’S BIGGEST BIKING FESTIVAL IS BACK !

INDIA BIKE WEEK 2021

AAMBY VALLEY

4-5TH DECEMBER 2021.

India Bike Week is all that is great in India’s motorcycling fraternity. It is Asia’s biggest and most important Motorbike Festival. A celebration of riding culture, freedom and young independence. The Great Migration on our motorbikes to IBW every year is propelled by camaraderie, moto-culture, freedom, riding, music, excellent food, and the best of times for motorcyclists from across Asia and the country.

This year India Bike Week is going to be one of a kind. A Special Edition.

IBW 2021 will distill the spirit of biking down its most potent and hard-hitting form. The setting is more intimate … the action so thick that you could cut it with an angle grinder.

There’s the Stunt Competition where stunt teams from across the country will battle it out for the much-coveted trophy.

As if that wasn’t enough, international stunt athletes will be rewriting physics textbooks and enthralling the crowds with their motorcycle antics.

The IBW Biker’s Mart – India’s largest biker exhibitor Zone – will be selling riding kits, motorcycle accessories and gear of every shape and size while the RevMoto Stage reverberates with unprecedented live music acts, exciting launches and all of the biker madness!

While the party is booming, the Big Trip tent will host sessions by the giants of the world’s Biking scene - legends who have biked across the world - across the wilds of Afghanistan to Myanmar, from Mongolia round to Patagonia - along with others who have woven two wheels and an engine intrinsically into their lives.

Over  400 Motorcycle Clubs from across the country will descend into Aamby Valley. Phone numbers will be exchanged, tales told, yarns spun. Firm friendships will be forged.

Engines will howl and tyres will squeal as the country’s biggest and quickest bikes and cars drag race against the clock at The Valley Run happening next door. Just that is worth the ticket price – we think it’ll be the start of something truly special for India’s army of car and bike fans. A weekend like no other. A celebration of petrol and electric motor madness.

It pays to know one’s roots and bike aficionados can trace the evolution of the motorbike as we know it by visiting the IBW Collector’s Showcase. The greatest specimens of the glorious marques and models from years gone by standing proud, sharing this hallowed space with India’s best custom motorcycles .

“It will be the best India Bike Week we have ever done. In 2020, for obvious reasons, we had to take a breather. This year though, after 18 months of just looking at our bikes, it’s finally – finally ! - time to ride. We’ve been hell bent on making IBW happen, and all year we have wanted IBW 2021 to be up close and personal - friends and riders together. In the first week of December 2021, the Great Migration will begin from all over the country and assemble in Aamby Valley. Sure, it’s not Goa, but this is a special event under special circumstances. It really is a Special Edition. We’re right next to our friend Rongom’s amazing Valley Run and  I cannot imagine a better weekend if you’re one of us.”, says Martin da Costa, CEO of 70 EMG and Director of India Bike Week.

On November 7th , bikers can RSVP online at ‘www.indiabikeweek.in’ and the ticket sales will go live on November 17th. The number of entries will be limited for the India Bike Week 2021 – The Special Edition, and so we recommend that you book your passes early in order to ensure your fair share of the country’s greatest motorcycle festival.

RBI allows NBFCs to apply for KUA | Views from Fintechs Tide and Signzy

Following the RBI’s announcement, which allows NBFCs, Payment System Providers and Payment System Participants to apply for KYC User Agency or sub KUA license and offer eKYC services to customers, Fintechs and startups are welcoming the new regulation. Please find below view of UK & India’s largest banking workflow automation firm Tide and India’s leading AI powered eKYC startup Signzy on this development –

Gurjodhpal Singh, CEO, Tide (India), said "RBI's recent decision to allow NBFCs, Payment System Providers and Payment System Participants to use for eKYC for onboarding customers is a welcome move for the Fintech ecosystem. This will promote digitisation, resulting in a forward thinking approach to ensure fast delivery of financial products in the sector and thus improve experience for many customers who had been facing a lot of issues. This is one of the most positives moves for players in the ecosystem, and will help make the onboarding journey less bumpy for customers."

Arpit Ratan, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer, Signzy, said “A truly democratic move to power NBFCs, payment system providers and participants to make the digital journey of customers faster, simpler and secure. Over the last two years RBI’s has been working to create a more enabling and compliant digital ecosystem that helps non-bank entities play a more participatory role in digitisation of financial services. Apart from payments, customers are increasingly preferring smartphones to access several other financial services like insurance, lending, business banking, payroll, alternate investments and this requires fast tracking of onboarding processes to improve customer experience and increase access. Given that RBI has lately been warning of frauds owing to improper KYC processes, providing a KUA license will definitely stem such activities and increase customers’ trust in non-banking entities which are working hard towards offering affordable and accessible financial services on the go.”

TiE Food Network conducted one-of-a-kind Sensory workshop on all about food; Living the life of a Sommelier

Flavoring Workshop conducted in association with TagTaste

Mumbai, July 24, 2021: TiE Mumbai recently conducted a unique, entertaining and educative Sensory workshop for its members on the Concepts of Sensory Evaluation and Live food Tasting. Taste is oral, while flavor is multi-sensory, this 3-hour session focused on the appreciation and recognition of food with regards to its appearance, aroma, texture, taste and sound.

“As children, we learn the names of all sorts of shapes, colors, and sounds. But when it comes to the way things smell or taste, the only language we ever hear is qualitative — good and bad, yummy and yucky, delicious and disgusting. Once you start trying, you notice how difficult it is to assign language to taste and smell; training is a prerequisite. Our services were so far limited to food companies and restaurants; we are pleased to be extending our services to consumers and are making our debut with the TiE Mumbai community.” said Jaspal Sabharwal, Co-founder & CEO, TagTaste.

“I think the last decade has seen new age food companies concentrating on tech enablers in the food business rather than the food itself and thus we've seen some great brands giving food with above average taste. The difference between great and good food businesses is going to be great scalable GLOCAL products coupled with robust marketing and tight operations. For the foodpreneurs, the FLAVORing workshop could be a good starting point to a multi-sensory food journey that they should take their consumers through.” said Sanket S, Chief Collaborator-Wolume up and Lead, TiE Food Network

“This workshop lends well into our capacity building agenda for the ecosystem. This flavor workshop by TagTaste is a small step into equipping and making future Food Entrepreneurs who can go on to build great businesses and thereby a robust Industry. TiE Mumbai constantly endeavors to bring innovative sessions to add value and create a unique experience for its members”. said Naveen Raju, Executive Director, TiE Mumbai.

The Workshop aimed to help in rediscovering our senses and finding the connection and reasons behind why we like or dislike certain things. It also enabled participants to Learn the language of describing food. (A little more than just good, bad, tasty, yucky.) and appreciating food that we eat, hence moving towards mindful eating. It also helped augment appreciation and consciousness of our taste buds and the fact that each one has been blessed with some unique genes that helps one experience food the way we do. It also taught participants a Smarter way to eat.

The workshop also gave a peek into the 6th taste recently discovered - KOKUMI. No tastings notes were taken on the paper, instead, a structured questionnaire based on the concepts learned were accessed on the TagTaste app. Tasters answered the questionnaire on the app and the data thus collected from all the tasters instantly formed a sensogram. The workshop ended with a detailed discussion on Sensogram for the product tasted. Participants received a certificate on completion of the workshop. Most ingredients for this workshop were easily available at home making it an enjoyable activity for the entire family.

Speaking about the overall launch, Vaibhav Bandal, Chief Executive, TIGERIZE shares, “Today when the world is fighting the pandemic and moving towards fitness to keep themselves healthy and boost their immunity to fight this disease even the Prime Minister is taking an active part to promote fit India. We wanted to focus on making every workout more comfortable by providing the most comfortable workout gear possible. On the other hand, when the world is looking at India as a manufacturing hub, we also want to play a role in the development of the Indian economy so we decided to manufacture in india itself which would also generate employment at this crucial time. Running a lineage of businesses is my very first venture which is started from scratch. With my past experience and knowledge along with Sejal’s inputs and comprehending the audience’s perspective completely, TIGERIZE is sure to be able to create a space for itself in every closet in due course of time”

It shall be a blend of comfort, style, and luxury”
